Not all repairs are expensive or hard to track down. In this video the car was fixed for just a few bucks! Given the age and mileage on this car the customer opted to have it repaired as cheap as possible. -Enjoy!

What was the scan tool that you used? I'm a diyer n I'm trying to find a scan tool that it'll do majority of what your scan tool does.
Wouldn't a set of wires and less of your time as labour charges be cheaper than these fancy connectors and whatever labour you charged her to crimp them on? It may have been even be the same cost.
Idk man. Whatโs that a $20 set of plug wires?
Nice work
Walter is happy and can now go to Gus' and make more meth.
Can't believe she could go for a set of plug wires and plugs. I mean I know you tried to sell her on it just can't get my head around being that cheap.
Great video sir…….. love the attention to detail and it looks factory๐
Looks more like human damage. Someone must dislike her/him. ๐ณ
Big like for the hula dance at the end!
Good that you kept the original flavour of plug wire. A change of diet can upset their wee tummies and then itโd be chewed plug lead covered in rodent poo for you to deal with. ๐
is there any spray to deter the critters from the harnesses etc?
A gM 3400 at some point in time I'm sure that had a head gasket done specially with that model year.. And would do in the head gasket you would do the valve covers the intake gasket in common sense would say do the plugs at the same time. Good call with those original plugs with a 190000 item there's a good chance you're gonna pull the threads. Great the v-jay.. Eric o always Helping his customers and giving them options. Well there's a mechanic where the conscience.
Replace it all.
โJust get it squeezed in thereโ
Thatโs what she said
The field mice are playing conquistadors and trying to conquer the Aztecs.
You did you was ask to do . At least you tried your best and it turned out goog good job from ind
That's why I keep a box of old plug wires. Comes in handy..
I dont get it.. plugs and wires are cheap. Why are you fixing the rodent chewed ones? This is the first SMA video that makes no sense to me at all.
190k on original plugs and wires, that's pretty good, and it ran good after as well
Not saying this to you by any means, the customer is always right but this is such a pet peeve of mine. I don't care if it's a "beater car" do a little p.m. people! Almost 200k on original plugs and wires? Jeesh.
A true artisan at work. Masterly.
Jeez. The hell with that. Buy a set of wires for it and move on. Even if it's a beater car. Would be what $30-$50 Send it my friend. Then again I'm used to spending over $100 a week in gasoline because of how much I drive anyway
Hula dancer with the misfire!!
New diagnostic tool??
johnny cash, oh man he was great
Did that 30years ago
Good job Eric!
How could replacing spark plugs and spark plug wires on an older car "open a can of worms"?
Where do ya buy the terminals? I've found very little online. They're either right angle ones or there very expensive the ones I've found
I like the way you think.
Gotta do what ya gotta do
Ugly… just plain ol' ugly… Who in the world designed those things?
Did what she wanted done!! Cool ๐
got ta do what they want good job
Thats what she said ๐๐
The kind of fix that brings the customer back. As long as you explain the pros & cons it then becomes the customer's choice for any outcome.
Love when you say "There's your problem lady".
Thanks Eric
Poor little mice, they were just hungry. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Very good.
Moth ball sometimes keep the mice away. Being so small you need a lot of them.
Love professionalism & knowledge, keep it up!
Why are y'all so critical? I am sure if Eric wanted to sell her some plug wires he could have. This is her second vehicle and she doesn't want to spend a whole lot of money on it so I'm sure Eric came up with an inexpensive fix that she agreed to. If Eric believed that the fix wouldn't work he wouldn't have agreed to it.
Eric bought her some time and saved her a little bit of money.
mr O, you need to eat better!
Speaking of tool boxes do you have a tool box tour video on the chanel
Awesome job
Alot of people don't know about beater cars, do a video about the concept and purpose for winter salt conditions. We all use to drive winter beaters in the winter, save on our good cars. From Sodus, New York ๐
An honest workman considers the customer's situation and needs, and always delivers more than he promised. That's the Golden Rule in action.
thats a cheap repair what about the insulation of the original old wire the owner needs to understand its not a good idea
the number 3 wire has a clean cut to be a rat. maybe someone at a shop cut it to make to sell a repair job
Just deep enough…. like a circumcision…..
