We made the call after properly diagnosing this LeSabre, ( https://youtu.be/8ZrNiWKVbkE ) now it is time to get the car fixed and out the door. The OEM C.A.R.B. Convertor was way more than this car was worth so we installed an aftermarket C.A.R.B. cat to keep the EPA and the customer happy. Let's see how it turns out. -Enjoy!

This comment is from 2022. Catalytic theft is on the rise. Does anybody have recommendations regarding anti-car theft or ant-catalytic theft? Top thieves are using the access port under the dash to recode a key to spec. Thanks for sharing! Stay Healthy!

I've never had a problem with the Walker or a Eastern converter.
As a certified master welder, I see nothing wrong with your welds, actually they're quite good! You didn't do anything different from what we all do from time to time, ie. striking off a little extra run-out on the edge of our work….yeah we're supposed to cut the wire with our nippers, which are usually just out of reach. Proud of you, brother!

I always pull my welds (even downhill). Someone told me that half the time I'm doing it wrong, but that means half the time I'm doing it right. I'm good with that.

What did the old cat look like was it visibly obstructed?
I have a buick 1991 lesabre. Its showing online that is has a long pipe for it, do i need to cut the whole pipe off? I thought it was just the silver box thing
