the ride was probably so bad bcuz you had the air ride jacked all the way up at the highest pressure lol, increasing the air pressure in the bags is like putting stiffer springs in it is it not?
I’m in the uk, a friend of mine had a standard one of these minis and had to get the gearbox fixed 3 times, the last time the garage said it was a common problem, but it’s strange how he never said on the first repair, I think he was hoping for the business lol
Oh dear, what a shed! If this was an aircraft it would not be issued an air worthiness certificate. It's for cars like this that we have the annual MOT test in the UK for cars over 3 years old.
I don't get the appeal of most super low low-riders. They drive like crap, and most of em look like their suspension simply broke because their original design clashes with that lowered look.
Looking at this vid, I'm so happy my wife didn't buy a Mini Cooper! But the BMW she did buy causes me fits. No Room for repairs, oil change is even a nightmare. Battery replacement Nightmare. Injectors nightmare.

Oil cooler housing gaskets lose their elasticity and leak oil/coolant from the block, turbo oil feed and return line, and potentially the vaccum pump can leak too.
From the old real souped up V8 car days, Those little things today make me laugh. Stupid big exhaust, sounds like a weed eater. They run 6,000 RPM but are going 25 MPH. They claim they can out run whatever….
My youngest daughter wants a Cooper. I told her she had champagne taste with beer money. I maintain all our cars. No way I'd work on this one…, all the damn time.

I had a car like that.. it didn’t end well. The engine was a mess, ended up in a junkyard somewhere near Houston Tx.

Aren't these mini coopers' engines mounted by the cylinder head? Like the engine block is supported by the head bolts which is mounted to the frame
