This is my first video EVER! This is a reupload. The channel has grown and I wanted everyone to see how it all got started. And yes, this is a REAL truck and a REAL customer brought it in for a clutch job and to check out a few other things.
I actually took the is footage because I refused to work on this thing and I wanted some evidence just in case I got into any trouble over the situation.

NOPE! Push it back out and tell him to go away. Had a joker like that come into Sears in the late 80's when I worked there. He had a early 70's Dart with slant 6. He wanted us to warranty a battery that obviously came from the junkyard (wrong group number tied in with wire and no receipt). The alternator belt was kept tight with a block of wood jammed in. I said I'm not adjusting that battery out. He yelled that he was a mechanic for 30 years…blah, blah, blah. Manager said to shove his car out into the parking lot. never came so close to punching a customer as that day.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars sigor2011 says:

I'd not take this car for a fix…might get rabies.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim Hull says:

That vehicle would be totally illegal to drive in the UK.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jacob Emerson says:

I'd actually like to have that, 4.8, 5 speed, RCSB, great parts truck anyway

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Silent Woodfire says:

I don't think that would pass inspection up here in Maine

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sonja Letourneau says:

How is that even legal to drive?

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hughes Enterprises says:

Customer states: Clutch needs new truck

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars thromboid says:

That vehicle is definitely in "used" condition.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Martin Balmforth says:

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Nguyen says:

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars specopsbrat says:

I can beat that car for junkyard quality. Not sure where your shop is, but i know our GMC 6500 1975 with no power steering, converted to hauling a 1750 gallon water tank to deliver to people like me that live in the desert of new mexico, with no power steering. and me being disabled with two metal rods in my back has replaced myself, with no mechanics experience its belt, brake master cylinder. And no headlights because mice and rabbits keep chewing through the wires. And its only feature is permanently on heating from the air from the engine compartment coming through the vents and i can't get in to even try to patch that, no ac. In 110 degree heat wave. Might, just might beat that car for junk.. Frankly if I could, i'd bring it to a rock quarry, bring some explosives, and go myth busters on it LOL.

We just brought it into a shop for headlight wire repair. Customer States: "Need headlight wiring fix, check belt, i put it on myself, has run good for 6 months, also changed master brake cylinder myself, 3 months been fine, still want those checked out. Has a winter phantom leak in brake system, yea I know its a heat wave, just mentioning it. Pretty sure muffler is rusted through, would like to replace that. Full fluid change and tune up. Alternatively, call the mythbusters, lets blow it up, sell tickets, and i'll just make a new truck from the proceeds."

I call my truck a "garbage can on wheels" cuz its rusty but trusty and it is used for yard work or recycling and so on , but this truck here got mine beat. That is the real McCoy

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MrChrisfj says:

This truck is a perfect example of why the strict vehicle laws here in the UK are a good idea. If it doesn't come into contact with other road traffic (i.e. It is used only off the public roads) then it can be excused, hopefully it was towed in?

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gina's Speedy Pit Stop says:

He won't get that one stolen.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Badger Pa says:

Sad how many people have never had a job on a farm or ranch, maybe the farmers should not send food to town since no one will fix the farm truck. It has all the clues to tell you it is a farm truck, room for saddle and feed in the front, bridle, tie downs for hay. Sad how so many people have no idea how the rest of the world lives and works.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Badger Pa says:

Is it used off road or daily driver? If you saw my plow truck that has been rolled over into a ravine stopped by a big oak tree you would cringe, but it plows my driveway and I do not abuse my other trucks. It has been partially parted also as we have another vehicle same year and model.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Don Perry says:

Dude you need to get a new truck lol that one needs a new home… The junk yard

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kentyn Kerndl says:

That would pass safety inspection in Alabama… If we HAD safety inspections in Alabama 😆

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars R Freitas says:

That is bad… but I have seen worst, on mining sites…

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stealth G35 Infiniti says:

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bruce Coleman says:

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Futten says:

i believe you need to burn that truck

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Blaise Walsh says:

how in the hell is that thing even allowed on the road….. just wow

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars carkotta says:

And I only have 14 more payments and then she be all mine 😀

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dennis Hyman says:

Is it even legal to let the vehicle go back out on the street?

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Car Wash Adam Cooper says:

Crystal meth is one hell of a drug..

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ry Erickson says:

Dude, what are you talking about?? That truck is custom!!!

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Gordon says:

It’s ready for the scrap yard I get it’s from point A to B but I would Rather walk

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Maxwell Crazycat says:

You know a shop doesn't have to accept every job that rolls or tows in. Some you shouldn't touch due to liability issues.

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars AlexCren1 says:

Now that is what we call a “farm truck”. So long as it goes forward still you drive it until it literally falls apart. I mean you don’t need nice to haul feed, hay, and supplies around the pastures! I had a friend whose trusty farm truck didn’t go into reverse and you had to get in on the passenger side. It had no tailgate and the body had rust holes, but it hauled supplies just fine. 🤪 They don’t usually leave the property though as not many are still road worthy or legal with the chop shop/haphazard style of fixing them!

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wookie Laney says:

That dude is that "buddy with a truck" I keep hearing about. Bet if you needed some shit moved. He'd be there

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Blake Zegarsky says:

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Grant Piche says:

That’s trouble waiting to happen. I would pass on that one, even if the owner would pay in advance.

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Fake Jeep says:

Seems perfectly safe… nothing illegal going on here…
