I dunno about you but the ad click at the top on the right is a horrible idea. Putting coke in your fuel tank.
I used to work on some friend's cars for cheap, cost of parts and feed me. Then I discovered they thought they were getting bad work from me because I was too cheap. Thanks to a rip-off garage and other of their friends reporting high repair costs. And boy were there some rip-offs. So I simply started charging them up the wazoo. Complaints stopped. They were happy with my work. Go figure.
Lesson to us all don't forget your "Clicks"
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Is it plugged in?
Have you tried rebooting?

Consumer adds Marval Mystery OILโฆ..kills wide ban sensor with Marval Mystery OIL.
Itโs an oil. Kills catalytic too.
Safety belt please!
Good video
Yeah that seemed like a set up cause even a back yard mechanic would plug it up and clear a code lol even the worst ones would atleast splice it together with tape while smoking a pipe something ๐ค lol
He said replace it. He said nothing about hooking it up. Piecemeal.
The old air interface issue
Someone in the shop has good taste. Playing that old school freestyle "Lil Suzy".
I wonder how much did the shop charged this customer for fixing the disconnected plug.
"This shouldn't have happened." ~Happens quite often….
You should get a camera mount for your head so u have your hands free or something like that
I believe that many of the sensors in modern cars are absolutely unnecessary. They just cause problems by failing, and cost money to replace.
I know you're the mechanic, but there is no reason in hell to turn off the ABS or traction control because this sensor is not working.
If they were intended to help people, they would tell what is wrong, not just codes that only the mechanic can see with a special tool.
The tire pressure light man!! Lol
good job sir.
Sound like yall get a lot of do overs on the vehicles
You are clearly a good enough mechanic to go out on your own. It's a scary step, but you'd do well.
take me in your arms never let me go (lol ) the not expected but respected tune thats all nothing to see here move along lol
never fixed o2 stuff. long as car runs ok I got to point sick n tired of replacing shit! Its for pollution control BS any how.
I love it when a plan comes together. Gotta love the easy ones. ๐
Itโs nice to have a $5,000 tool to read all the trouble codes. Takes out a lot of guesswork.
Thanks for all your explanations
Good easy find, the first thing I always look for is what the last guy did, even if it was me,
Got a lil freestyle playin in the back ground.
Lil Suzy. Take me in your arms.
Guess I jus showed my age. Lol
Guess he paid to have it installed didn't pay enough to have it plugged in. ๐๐๐คฃ๐คฃ๐
That was too easy. SUSPICIOUS.
Don't you just LOVE that 'EASY' button ?
You missed a doo dee Doo dee Doo.โน๏ธ
You still don't know if that sensor was even replaced. It could come back to you.
Watching your videos I get the idea I should turn off my radio before leaving the keys
Ray, I had a smile for you when you found the unplugged sensor .every once in a while you will have a sweet win like that and it is what makes the job so exciting and interesting. Cheers from Australia, Robert
Love the videos please stop that crap at the end though about commenting and communicating crap etc too much xx
They did EXACTLY what they said they would do: replace the sensor
I so love when they return the vehicle after you told them what was wrong and they still didn't let you fix it the first time. It's kind of hilarious really. But hey at least she keeps you working
Would love to hear customer reaction when you tell them it wasn't plugged in!!๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ what a maroon, to quote someone famous
I recently replaced my o2 sensors. Because of your videos, I knew what to look for with my scan tool. ๐
I learned another couple lessons on my own, however. One… getting an old sensor out can be a PAIN in the ass. Two… use an OEM sensor if possible. My Chrysler did not like the aftermarket Bosch one's I put in. Returned them and put in Mopar one's and she was happy once again! Thanks for all your videos Ray!
Hurray Ray Ray! ๐
My way of dealing with check engine lights is open the hood yep engine is still there good to go lol.
For months I've been driving with a check engine light on…recently installed a new battery, new alternator , air filter, oil filter and oil. Low and behold, my "check engine" light turned off. Should I be concerned or relieved?
Nice rolling stop on your test drive.
Thats a 100 dollar diagnostic,
Seat belt light. I always thought that on the cheep meant I was doing it.
Like YOU have never missed anything?๐๐๐๐๐
That "ECM throws code, all other modules fail" system is really dumb. There's no reason the ABS needs the engine since it should only be detecting brake lockup. Traction control wouldn't need it either since all it would do on the engine side is de-throttle during a spin. Silly engineers.
