I hate seeing morons diy thier upgrades in dangerous ways… everything was lose, steering rack was ready to slip lose before the accident…
That 1cm off on that steering shaft goes to show how much our lives depend on the mechanic's proper work. Don't mess with stuff you're not qualified for and leave it to the specialists. You might save a few dollars, but lose something much more valuable.

Hearing I know someone who can do it cheaper is annoying but try spending a hour of your time looking up parts in Swedish then after translating it go price the parts the customer asked for and then be told I know someone who can get the parts cheaper … I told one guy if that’s the case why did you waste my time and not go see your friends instead of wasting a hour of my time

Don't use an electric rattle gun, use an air powered rattle gun with a 1 inch drive to hammer in bolts
“It was a rolling death trap before they wrecked it”….. im almost willing to bet that’s how it ended up wrecked. Long before I started to work on cars I used to get into arguments with my wife about not wanting to touch our cars to repair them myself. She used to say out of everything that I can fix cars should be the easiest. I just used to say I don’t know what I’m doing and that can get someone killed.

soft move using the blue loktite my man. should have gone with red or just removed the pan and welded on the inside 🤟
You cannot get a pan gasket for that is it silicone only for me I would need a gasket no way would I put silicone around a oil pan whatever squeezes out on the outside is going to squeeze out on the inside not good no way would I have none that all of that silicone wind up in your oil pickup screen

Transmission rebuild? That gasket maker was oozing out of there.
Also my steering rack looks just like that. I was freaking out when I saw it then looked everything up. It does sit like that on the top side.

The only reason I can see for bringing in a seriously damaged car to a mechanic rather than a body shop is they must not have had insurance or they only had liability insurance ..Where do you draw the line with this kind of damage and just tell them they need to take it to a body shop , Is it frame damage , or as long as someone is paying for the repairs you don't care ?? …
I love the guy that is very often in the background and asks some stupid things I would probably ask too and then gets a very short and informative answer and his reaction is just "aaa 😶🌫️😮"🤣👌
