Have you done a video or explain how you organize the nuts and bolts you take out ? I use sandwich bags … I bought a fancy organizer … worked great 👍 until I had a second job at the same time .. and it took up alot of real-estate.. just curious 🤔

After fighting with the water pump, the fan, the crossover pipe, are you sure you wouldn't be better off cutting the exhaust behind the cat and coming out the bottom?

I've done numerous of these engines, either 3.3 or 3.8. I found the easier way (especially with the newer 3.6) is to remove the front bumper, the top radiator brace and the radiator, condenser and fan as a unit. That way the engine can come out the front. Also no need to remove the water pump, just the pulley and crank.

That is the kind of job you do in your backyard yourself. I can't imagine why anyone would think its worthwhile to pay someone to change the engine in a van that is only a few miles till the scrapyard.

I have a Chrysler Town and Country Stow n go because I'm handicapped and my walker goes right inside the sliding doors. That baby goes right thru snow with its winter tires on it. It'll eat snow allday. Plus traction control. He's lost without using his spray on everything. Haha

Yes i watched you do your engine removal on the dodge van you would of been better to remove the radiator and the cross bar holding the radiator. I do that when doing that this way lot of room to pull the motor out forward

The car suffers from such fuel exchange
40 liters of gasoline travel only 100 km
The engine is in good condition
The nipple sensor is on and it has been tested
The nozzles (fuel spray) have been replaced with original quality
Currently only there is a p0325 code
Does this sensor increase fuel exchange?
what should I do
what i want to know is how do you know if the same problem dont persist with the engine from junk yard cause most the time motors from there have the same problems thats why they are there shouldve just repaired leak in gasket and sent her on her way 🤷♂️

If you need an air chisel on this job something went horribly wrong 😵
Mines at 150k doing the head gaskets, got fel pros for $8 each on rockauto and all other gaskets required $85 total shipped, only symptom is excessive pressure in the cooling system and it will vent a little coolant from the connection of the top hose to radiator and that's very seldom some days it will some it wont , it will make a 3hr trip no prob or farther, pretty strange..
Old radiator cracked right around this spot too from the heat
I bet they designed them this way, they say the heads surface is a little imperfect
If it weren't for this failure these engines would last 500k without much problem as long as you keep an eye on the oil leaks 🤣
