This is a quick video programming some key fobs in a Ram 1500 I bough on Amazon. They were several hundred dollars less than the OEM key fobs and seemed to work great. I do the whole proces using the Launch X431 V. -Enjoy!

I just bought one of these scanners, I've never used one before. They're very easy to use and self explanatory so far. I'm not sure what all the extra accessories are for but I haven't had to use them yet either.
the old key can be reprogrammed IF it was originally programmed TO THAT CAR… UNLESS IT IS DAMAGED SOMEHOW.

Nice vid E. I would suggest (and watching some of your newer vids…you typically do) but especially in this case since they only had one key…I would put the vehicle on a charger when flashing. Thank for the great content.

getting ready to buy a launch having trouble picking out which one to buy they show 3 pro minis all same price but read different need help
Purchased one worked well on 2000 Express van , 2002 chevy silverado, 2004 jeep, 2019 Express van , 2006 honda ridgeline. Up until it meets its match with a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 which when I use it the engine light lights up and the trucks stuck in 3rd gear until I reset the truck by removing battery terminal. Tried multiple times same result also doesn't see all the trucks modules Or data streams. Here's the best part trying to get support. Wow
No replies using the scan tool , no replies emailing multiple authorized dealer. At least the USA dealer confirmed it's not one of the thousands it seems of the fakes, however, since it wasn't purchased from them they can't assist
The did send me a list of authorized dealers. This has still lead to no replies at all. Beware not only are there all kinds of fakes and the sites all look authentic, but even if its real good luck if you have a problem. No replies and everyone who I talk to wants the purchase order or serial number then replies can't help because it wasn't sold by them.
