This is f150 is a sister truck to one that came in with a blown up engine. The same issue killed the last one. This time I think the driver saved it.

I remember being summoned up to the vehicle manager at a company I worked for many years ago after a company car I used to drive decided to commit suicide and destroyed its engine. I had to sit in his office and was made to feel like the naughty schoolboy as I was being lambasted. 2 weeks later I found out that he didn't even have a basic car licence. I told my boss that I was going back to see him and to gave this out with him. I don't remember how many expletives were used by me but for some reason most of the security staff were hanging around outside his office

Love your videos, but can't help but think your talent would be better served as a teacher of the trade. Our younger generation has no idea how to do basic matinance on their vehicles. You are a great youtuber don't ever stop.

Ray, you really do great job showing that not everyone can work on cars. With that said, I throughly enjoy you videos and look forward to your daily struggles. No offense, but it makes me feel better 😌. I always get the same comment from customers. "Just hook up your fancy scan tool and let it tell you how to fix my car"….you know, because I am stupid and shouldn't be left unsupervised….smh

To rays comment about the stuck tabs and using some sort of aerosol liquid to loosen them the best ive found is aerosol glass cleaner (sprayway) is my favorite and the nozzle and straw from a brake parts cleaner can is the best for most dirty electrical/fuel/def connectors gets the dirt/debris soaked and soft and then you can use air to blow it out. Best part is its mainly soap/water so unlike brake cleaner or other petroleum based aerosol’s it wont swell/damage seals/o-rings in most connectors. Works well for me does take patience but beats damaging/destroying a connector.

I like how manufacturers and engineers think plastic is a good idea on heater line joints I dont mind plastic expansion tanks or rad tanks but every plastic joint or connection on heater hoses on my personal vehicle I'll replace if possible tho I own nothing newer than 06 so I have an easier time with it

You need to add some kind of dye to that 'test coolant' so you don't accidentally mistake it for blinker fluid. As least with muffler bearings you can tell them apart from other types of bearings due to the stripe painted on them…
