2008 Ford E350 Cubicle Cutaway box fan with 160 070 miles on the odometer. Customers stated that vehicle overheated. It's got the big engine. It's a 6.8 liter.
V10 However, we can't see it because it's behind all this good stuff over here. I've got the coolant reservoir filled with some water partially. We've got the pressure tester connected and the system is up at pressure and we can see there's already some saturation activity going on down below here. Let's see what we're working with.
Looks like, oh, there we go. We got something that was easy. happened super fast. Look at that.
That's definitely coolant right there. Coming out of that fitting. Looks like we've got a leak in radiator. All right, that's nasty too.
Look at that crust-o-matic that's been leaking for a long time. Recommend radiator replacement system. Pressure down.
Sucks when a engine starts to overheat ๐ข got lucky it was just a radiator
i have 3 vans from ford 1992 1995 1996 the mileage range from 156k to 212k and one with 312k never had a major poblems with these vans but 1997 and newer are junk……………
you recommend radiator replacement because of leak from the fitting >> strange ?
It is 2023 and this is the best they can put on the street? You canโt see the engine๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Wtf a v10 van no wonder all amercsn vehicles suck on fuel consumption stupid shit like this instead of a torquey 2.0 tdci that pisses all over it on everything pffffft
7l v10 in a van? Bro must be hauling some serious ass
Just pour a can or two of stopleak in there and it will be good for another couple of months, or at least until it gets sold.
So good to see you back at it brother…
EVs will solve these common leak problems.
hey man. what pressure to you pressurize to? And where do i get that adapter to connect to the cap?? TIA
That is Triton garbage๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
Recommend fill and trade.
Decompress before release as the coolent can splash back.
Check the water pump hacker
Funny theres a 6.8l v10 in it which probably produces less power than the 1.5l i4 you find in new euro vans
Doesn't look like a cheap one, either.
You guys have 1800radiator in the area?
I remember a time when that would have been a radiator repair, or sent around the corner for a clean and flush and a resolder.
In Jamaica. Take the radiator out, and take it to the Radiator Repairman. Put it back in a few hours later good to go.
We had problems with Ford v10 in our rollback truck, cam shaft walked on passenger side of motor hit solenoid and lost a valve. Had to pull cab off to replace motor, happened twice second time pulled head. I believe they have a service bulletin about issue or recall
my 01 6.8 has 286 on the clock
๐๐บ๐ฒ
ahhh, saturation. nasty
That engine is a beast if you can afford to upkeep it, let alone gas costs
A leaky cheap hose clamp so they replace the whole radiator. There's nothing to see here. Freaking thieves.
Hi revs for extended period. Shouldn't really do more than 65 when loaded.
I love ford van's I own a 98 Ford e250 4.2 v6
7.3 is the way to go for towing๐โฆ just kidding. Whatever you can afford and is paid off is the best
How does it leak with all that schmutz under there?
Radiator, lines plus can of gas and a match ๐
6.8*
That's the basis for quite a few RV's.
6.8 v10
Lol 6.8 liter
they get replaced around 90k almost every time
TURD
Did you do a compression test on all of the cylinders first since it is an overheat vehicle?
A grandson and I just replaced the radiator in his 2004 Explo(d)er Plastic tanks and connections just don't last.
Cant believe they ever thought a v10 belonged in a box truck ๐คฃ
The super rare 1 of 1 5.8 v10๐
V10 = Muscle Car
My mom can't watch enough Ray.She loves his voice
Sometimes the solution just jumps out at you!
I have a leaker in my pants
