So, I got a wheel bearing question: 1 guy said he could help replace it if my 2015 Ford Escape is a Flex? Does that mean if it isn’t a Flex like a Prescott I think or something like that it has a unique tool that only Dealerships have to take it apart to put on the new wheel bearing?
I think your choice of not having people come from out of state or out of town to do you have you do the repairs is not right what you need is a Motel in Avoca and people can use your expertise and if they want to use you so be it you are good you know it so do I I loved your videos and I wish I could be as good as you thank you

I know you just grabbed the parts off the shelf, but I like to put my bearings and parts in the freezer. Makes them slide in place very easily.

You need a lot of Expensive tools for this and know how to use them too is Cheaper to pay on a Shop even Fixing both sides

When compressing the cylinder back into the caliper I assume you have loosened or removed the reservoir cap? I ask because I had a master cylinder blown because of over pressuring the reservoir. Done by a supposedly professional shop.

Thanks after watching this video I went to the good old harbor freight bought the tools and completed the wheel bearing job on my ford escape!!! Now the true test see if it holds together!!

do you remove the piston boot and clean around the piston . add rubber grease or brake lube grease . re install boot . i do this to every car i do a brake job on .

Just did a Escape..2017 1.5L…..You have not lived till you replace the water pump. Then the AC\Alternator belt is a stretch fit..
