Just scared up a 700 dollar set of hammers
I would feel guilty also I looked at that set of hammers a while ago and the price almost knocked my boots off but it's the only set you would need for life
I bought the 3/8 nano impact several months ago and it's one of the best impacts on the market I'm buying the 1/4 impact rachet that you use next because 1/4 is the first thing I grab unless it's big stuff like balljoint etc.
I bought an OEM 1/2 drive battery impact gun at the pawn shop 2 weeks ago got the complete set up for 45 dollars and it surprised me I've tried it on everything and amazing it not only does lug nuts but it removes and installs ball joints so I'm glad I brought it I won't use it on every balljoint job I just tested it and it takes driveshaft bolts out with ease you know they have locktite the entire length I would recommend OEM to anyone now
I work on these in the south so i guess take it with a grain of salt but i have changed these uppers and lower bjs with the hub and axel still together. What made you take it all apart?

I have never seen a Ford front hub slide off that easily. It usually requires a 6 pound hammer, a pry bar and an air chisel. And the dust shield will be destroyed. Anyone owning a Ford 4 wheel drive built in the last 15 years will get plenty of experience replacing steering components and brakes.
Is using a torch a bad idea if you have an oil leak and there’s oil everywhere? Curse of the 7.3 😂

The passenger side comes apart pretty easy if you lift up the bottom of the tie rod stud with a floor jack, then strike the knuckle between the two rod ends.
You have this far saved me $1400.00. I am ready to press em out and watching part two. My first experience with this by the way and this video rocks!

Tanks fur da video! I had to do upper and lower ball joints as well as bearings and all steering components on my 2010 F350 Soopa Duty 4×4 and this video helped greatly. Lots of labor and special tools.
You have a great way about you and you do awesome videos that are informative and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for taking the time to educate knuckleheads like myself. Your final motivational comment in the video was what pushed me over the edge and encouraged me to try to do It on the ground, in the winter on Cape Cod without all the correct tools. I may regret the decision.

South Main, build a magnetic mount base for your 📷 camera's.
Tec tip from a 50 year ford tec.
All you have to do release the tie rod ends from the nuckle is to tap on the center boss between the two ends with a small dead blow hammer.
The bottom joint will just drop off then reinstall the castell nut and gently tap up DONE
