The day moves on and all good things must come to an end! In this video we replace the two outer tie rod ends and I show you a down and dirty way to set the toe close enough to drive it to the alignment shop. -Enjoy!

Liquid Wrench…….old school. It’s like Seafoam , use it all the time even though Scotty says it’s a complete waste of time because it doesn’t contain PEA. I’ve cleaned everything , all types of parts with Seafoam wit success.

Hi Eric awesome video learning a lot thanks again 🇺🇸🇺🇸

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars RenoF250 says:

I like the WalMart SuperTech spray because it is cheap. Seafoam because it smells the best. Marvel+Acetone probably works the best to break free but you have to make it fresh or the acetone evaporates.

Time for the alignment and another satisfied customer!

When I started doing alignments on Ford trucks…used a 5 ton porta power to bend axles.

Been turning wrenches professionally for about 30 years in the worst rust belt known to man, Quebec and ironically did the same job on two different f250 this week. I agree totally about penetrate fluid being so so at best .love your videos' Eric .i use a tape measure from end of tube to stud of tie rod instead of counting turns and both trucks were bang on for toe adjust, probably lucky tho lol.i didn,t see all your videos on this job i assume you covered that the camber caster sleeve has to be clean and lubed to avoid torque steer problem and that there is a sequence to follow when tighten the ball joints lower 44 ft lbs then upper 70 ft lbs then lower again at 150 ft lbs all to avoid the torque steer problem

Thanks for the videos! I really appreciate that your videos show when "whoops" happen and how to fix the boo-boo because Papa Jon certainly makes more than his fair share and the whoops correction is often vitally important to learn…

I can't understand why people think it's OK to call Eric for free advice but these same people wouldn't dare call their local Firestone, Ford, Toyota, Subaru dealer for the same free advice. If you want advice then use a Haynes or Chiltern manual. Also go to some of the internet forums where people routinely ask others for advice. I would love to ask Eric for advice about my car and I know 1000 other people would too. My solution is to watch his videos and research online while leaving him alone to make a living.

    Thanks for the video

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Carl Trano says:

I do think kroil is the best on the market but with that being said it needs heat cycles to work at it’s best which one could make the argument that the heat cycles is really what broke the fastener loose to being with. But it has saved my bacon many times.

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Panko says:

I have read that a survey was done by all military motor pool wrenchers and they all agreed that a 50/50 mix of ATF and acitone works best as a liquid wrench and any ATF works as well as another……..and would be cheap to produce in bulk…..and what the hell why not use your old ATF!

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars P A says:

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Marcos Torres says:
