I feel So sad seeing all of the rusted cars and trucks, I grew up in upper New England and worked in a wrecking yard in the mid to late 70s , moved to Florida in the early 80s and What a difference their is between the underneath of a 90s Florida Ranger and New York Truck Ranger , Everything is rusted So badly….I don't miss the snowbelt states one bit Sir, my hats off to you mechanics up yonder

Every video is proof that being a mechanic in the rust belt is brutal. Always working in straight junk… rusted out junk.
You are always going to have work. Your state pours salt all over the roads and that literally rots the cars. Even here in Colorado (where they used to use sand), they are starting to use salt. I have a winter car and my BMW does not come out until late spring.
The army aviation inside me says to bend those cotter pin IAW 204 series manual.
I had a couple 89 Rangers in a service fleet. One friction welded the spindle bearings just past factory warranty, requiring the same repair with a junk yard spindle. I took the other side apart and found the bearings were only lightly greased, about like they come in the package.
This thing isn't even worth the repairs🙁
You know, the same idjuts that talk about the split pins being not to code are probably the same ones that think the moon landings were faked and the earth is flat!

I enjoy your videos and are a good source of information on vehicle projects. Recently the Project was to replace the front struts on the wife's 2009 Camry.the work looked straight forward and proceeded well until installing the new strut. The studs would fit into the holes in the strut tower. Was the part incorrect? No, on examination, a clear plastic protective sleeve was found on the studs. I felt so stupid but finally relieved to find such a simple reason. Still trying to do the work properly. Did you ever have an experience like this?
On the red coupe Honda strut removal might a SAWZALL, worked ? You know Milwaukee, or Makita.
I don't understand why people would even call at all from YouTube. You clearly are working and when they call all they do is interrupt your train of thought. And as mechanics we know things get messed up when that happens, especially if the call is essentially pointless.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica and the display lighting on my a/c heater climate control unit doesn't light up but the unit it self works perfectly other then I can't see the display.
Is there bulbs behind the unit I can replace or do I have to purchase the Complete unit also cruise control doesn't ingage when activate it does say it's on but doesn't set speed it just when tap the brake lights does go off doesn't

My brothers can look at vehicle an say "heal" and it's fixed, me, I break more than I fix usually on the things, usually.
Do you charge an hourly rate to go harvest parts from the salvage yard for customers?
I like the thicker nitrile gloves. They still go out but they seem to last a fraction longer

Cant believe that guy drove in on the spindle
It amazes me how much vehicles much be over engineered to have the metal loss to rust. My truck is a 98 and has over 240k miles I'm not sure how much more as the odometer quit working, but the point is I can see the original paint on the underside of all the parts in the frame and suspension. Looking at the condition of that ranger I would be like is this thing safe? I wouldn't drive it but I guess it is ok if Mr. O says so but it would scare the hell out of me!!!!! Thank God for no salt!!!!! I do wish we would get some snow once and awhile though, it is fun!

If it were mine I would have just replaced the whole front suspension including bolts and nuts at that point with how rusted and crusted that whole setup is.

Skip the lock-tight all together. Its not doing anything for you. If they really thought it would come loose it would have a cotter key
