    good job boss

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tom Sawyer says:

It would appear that you are doing this job for a close friend or family member….which is a good thing.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars George Holbein says:

I feel So sad seeing all of the rusted cars and trucks, I grew up in upper New England and worked in a wrecking yard in the mid to late 70s , moved to Florida in the early 80s and What a difference their is between the underneath of a 90s Florida Ranger and New York Truck Ranger , Everything is rusted So badly….I don't miss the snowbelt states one bit Sir, my hats off to you mechanics up yonder

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Scott Hayes says:

I Luv it when you are on your A-game. Keep up the great work and videos..!!!

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve G says:

    I can't believe you didn't replace that poor shock…

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve G says:

Good God, these vehicles look like they sat on the bottom of the ocean for years…

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Matthew Wisenbaugh says:

If it weren't for change you would not have any sense(cents)…lol get it….

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Antoni's Autos says:

Every video is proof that being a mechanic in the rust belt is brutal. Always working in straight junk… rusted out junk.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Billy Boy says:

You are always going to have work. Your state pours salt all over the roads and that literally rots the cars. Even here in Colorado (where they used to use sand), they are starting to use salt. I have a winter car and my BMW does not come out until late spring.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jonathan Tolbert says:

The army aviation inside me says to bend those cotter pin IAW 204 series manual.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mark G says:

I had a couple 89 Rangers in a service fleet. One friction welded the spindle bearings just past factory warranty, requiring the same repair with a junk yard spindle. I took the other side apart and found the bearings were only lightly greased, about like they come in the package.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Austin James says:

This thing isn't even worth the repairs🙁

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars woodworker Royer says:

You know, the same idjuts that talk about the split pins being not to code are probably the same ones that think the moon landings were faked and the earth is flat!

When all you have is a Brooks, "everything looks like a nail."

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jared THISDELLE says:

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Carol CarolA says:

I enjoy your videos and are a good source of information on vehicle projects. Recently the Project was to replace the front struts on the wife's 2009 Camry.the work looked straight forward and proceeded well until installing the new strut. The studs would fit into the holes in the strut tower. Was the part incorrect? No, on examination, a clear plastic protective sleeve was found on the studs. I felt so stupid but finally relieved to find such a simple reason. Still trying to do the work properly. Did you ever have an experience like this?

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars paul rayer says:

On the red coupe Honda strut removal might a SAWZALL, worked ? You know Milwaukee, or Makita.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Massoudi AVCS_YO says:

I don't understand why people would even call at all from YouTube. You clearly are working and when they call all they do is interrupt your train of thought. And as mechanics we know things get messed up when that happens, especially if the call is essentially pointless.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joe schmo says:

grew up in north east but live in socal now, and i cannot get over the amount of rust!!!

"Well that didn't work" Welcome to my world when working on cars. That's why I'm an IT tech, and watch your channel. Besides my brothers, you're the best mech in the business that I've seen. My brothers can look at vehicle an say "heal" and it's fixed, me, I break more than I fix usually on the things, usually.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars apshambarger says:

Do you charge an hourly rate to go harvest parts from the salvage yard for customers?

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kenneth Gilbert says:

I like the thicker nitrile gloves. They still go out but they seem to last a fraction longer

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dave Dennis says:

You are not thinking Eric. You could just answer the phone and charge $25 a call and everybody comes out happy…. except for us watchers. But there ya go…

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bill K says:

Cant believe that guy drove in on the spindle

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wildturkey10121 says:

It amazes me how much vehicles much be over engineered to have the metal loss to rust. My truck is a 98 and has over 240k miles I'm not sure how much more as the odometer quit working, but the point is I can see the original paint on the underside of all the parts in the frame and suspension. Looking at the condition of that ranger I would be like is this thing safe? I wouldn't drive it but I guess it is ok if Mr. O says so but it would scare the hell out of me!!!!! Thank God for no salt!!!!! I do wish we would get some snow once and awhile though, it is fun!

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Besemer says:

What's with the wrist-band? You on work-release from the nuthouse?

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan Dennis says:

How much fluid film does this truck need?

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Justin Janich says:

I spy a Winder Towing sticker!

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nathan Smith says:

Where is part 1 to the Ford ranger build?

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars edac1078 says:

    More Brake clean!

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Antoni's Autos says:

If it were mine I would have just replaced the whole front suspension including bolts and nuts at that point with how rusted and crusted that whole setup is.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Duncan Morrison says:

"Shaft is clean; nuts are nice and dry"

    You're doing it wrong.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars maykevin5 says:

Geez, you should have just brought back the whole vehicle from pick a part. It would be in better shape than that rust bucket.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars AintPC says:

I was lookng for Scott Kilmer spark plug gapping video and found this.

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ion Racer says:

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Dyckman says:

Eric, seeing you use big nasty, I want to get one, even though I have cheaper one. What kind of lift are you using, on the Ford ranger ? Looks like a scissor type ?

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris R says:

Skip the lock-tight all together. Its not doing anything for you. If they really thought it would come loose it would have a cotter key

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Greg White says:

Best gloves I've found so far are some my dental hygienist gave to me that they use. Almost have to try to rip those suckers.

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ausblack says:
