On a factory ford 2010 mustang radio everything cuts on auxiliary pretty much works but there is no sound on fm or am radio only?????
The amplitude don't change at all from volume 1 to high defenitly looks like a Bad Radio bus communication seems to be working especially with door locks and key reminders hmm @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC

On my Dodge Journey the bluetooth module is up under the brake pedal under the wheel. Most ridiculous place to put anything except the ignorant stupid engineers put the battery up in the left front fender. You have to remove the tire and the inner fender every time something happens to the battery. The battery lasted from last October till now, November 30th a little over a year which is pretty shabby. It went bad. Poor quality. The battery also has a 180 $ module that you better hope stays working on the negative lead. Checked the voltage while running and 14.53v so the nator works.
A family member bought a 2020 Acadia and YES this happens to her, Android Auto doesn't work….it's terrible. Volume has a mind of its own. Meanwhile I drive a 10yr old Lexus with 2X the features and reliability. GMC should dissolve. They don't even try to give value.

Im dealing with a 2015 GMC Yukon …no sound from speakers and all functions work on radio….our snap on versus is a joke as well
Well a amplifier just boost the radio volume by whatever amplification it says it is (let's say 200watts) the radio volume comes out the radio at let's say 25 watts,goes to the amp and the amp then can boost it to 200 watts, but doesn't have any thing to do with volume switch in the radio. But with the new systems they seem to be more of a brain then a amp now a days 🤷♂️

Hey bro, where can I get a schematic like that, for free? I got major problems as water was trapped in the all the wire harnesses and many of the contacts have rusted out and broken off. Major hassle and the worst design ever to place a junction box between the door. Why not just submerge it in the washer fluid. Help.

We used to just send OEM radios out to Suburban Radio in Audubon and they'd fix them in their shop if it was possible.

Definitely a GM thing. Both my father and I have a 2013 Camaro 1LS, and both have a radio/ HVAC unit that dies or freezes randomly. Super annoying. When that happens, no chimes, no signal clicker, no nothing. The dealer just wants to "run a diagnostic" and then throw parts at it.
Had the same radio in my Impala (at least it looked the same anyway) and it was a total piece of junk too.

You mentioning full blast radio reminded me back when I was a kid it was a prank I'd play on the kid with the car, turn on everything full, wipers, heater fan, radio, so at the turn of the key it was chaos. Stupid teenager tricks. As always, thanks for another great video.

That Verus reminds me of my Samsung S6 phone, had a mind of its own wouldn't switch on then freeze then just switch off when it fancied, no joy with Samsung so ditched it for another brand, it'll be a dark day before I buy another Samsung product…….

Looks like a bad rheostat on the volume control of the radio. Maybe someone may have turned the volume knob too much in either direction.
united radio is awesome as youprobally know they do spedos too i beleve it was a different building we had to send them to they use to make us send the radio and amp though i remember it was a ponitac with the masoon system we sent the radio and they called asking for the amp
I have an 08 Acadia an my radio all I hear is static sometimes the radio will work. I can have the car off an just open the door an there's nothing but like hi bass noise with static. I didn't no if u had any ideas on what i could do or think of what it might be thanks

Ive know a decent amount about computers You almost definitely have a bunch of dust clogging the Verus cpu cooler fan. Just open it up and blow out the dust and youre good to go.

I have the same problem but the chime works and when I use the blinkers there is a loud sound that come out of the speakers do you think I need to change my radio?
there isnt much you can do with those radio's. If someone cut any ground wires going into the radio or any of the door opening sensors are damaged,they ding through the speakers,Its a really stupid design . If you dump a new radio and it still does it,you just wasted the customers money. If you could use a known radio,then you would be ok. Getting those radios repaired must be costly.

Theses cars have Electronic problems. I had a car that would not turn off when the key was in the off position and removed . Warning lights were all on. Service engine, oil change etc etc
I see you have the Verus Pro on your newer videos now. Mine ran flawless but now I've upgraded to the Verus Edge which screams. It boots in @50 seconds and you can snooze it & it'll restart in 5 seconds, Windows 7 Embedded with an SSD. Wow we used United Radio Repair in Syracuse back in 1975 when I started working at Howell & Pierson Dodge in Johnstown, NY. Glad to hear they are still in business & they fixed all our warranty radios and never had a problem after they fixed them.
United Radio! I use them all the time working at Ford, they supply us with warranty radios and instrument clusters. Obviously a little closer to you, hehe.

For such a supposedly quality item the Verus still runs on Windows XP? For all the money you have spent why doesn't Snap On at least upgrade it to something a bit more sophisticated and modern? Seems as though Snap On could use some help with their computer options.. Take Care..
Snap-On should give you a new Verus Edge so you could say, "this is great" all day long, instead of the opposite, that's going on right now. They're missing a superb marketing opportunity.
