    I looked for witness marks…..nothing. All they did was toss on 4 new tires.

    it's a shame the owner disabled the automatic locking hubs. I just rebuilt mine (replaced seals and orings) and they work great.

    Curious… Why are you concerned with over torquing when anti-seize is applied, but just say "click" after beating on the nut with a pneumatic impact gun. I would have thought some "actual clicks" would have occurred. I know some will say "he knows is tools", but it can't be that accurate. It could easily over torque as much if not more than if anti-seize was used. Especially given the variability of pneumatic tools and shop air pressure.

    I am still amazed how pneumatic tools use a standardized quick (dis) connect system. I worked in the spray enameling business in the 1970-80s and it seemed every pneumatic manufacturer had their own proprietary connectors, so every shop had to decide which ones to use.

    i know im late to see this but dang that hub came off so easy !!! i just spent 4 days smashing one off where the axle shaft was also stuck to the hub, had to use many sledge hammers and broke a few things and tools to do it

    Maybe i shouldn't be surprised but my last Ford truck was a '79 F150 Custom and after burying it in mud, I had to clean and repack both lock-out assemblies and from what I saw, they didn't change much at all but I guess when something works, why change it. That truck gave me many years of service with minimal issues, that is after I replaced the 351M which was a POS heh.

    Good morning, I love watching your videos my friend I was curious on this one whether or not it's standard procedure to change out the vacuum seal that is on the backside of the wheel bearing and pressed onto the stub shaft? I know these vehicles are very prone to having vacuum leaks and this will cause the "auto" four-wheel drive to not engage properly and we'll set your vent selection to default in to defrost if those seals are leaking. I am not posting this to criticize by any means only curious if the customer declined anything else or if the seals we're okay and if they were what was the method used to verify that?

    I own the same truck, a word of advice use two large pry bars on the axle where it goes into the tube and you can slide the bearing out straight. Makes less hammering. And it also allows for the bearing to be reused when doing ball joints. Or you can pull axle and wheel bearing as an assembly
