I get it in the beginning I too thought Rainman Ray was a great guy. The truth is the number of people subscribed seems to be extremely controversial. And the fact that he now lives in a 970,000 dollar house as a mechanic sounds a little to good to be true. But you can certainly make a fortune off customer service repairs. A good mechanic can do 12 to 18 hours of book time money in an 8 hour shift. Simply stated the book says four hours to repair a part and it only takes two hours the shop Bill's for four hours labor time. Nice gig right? Be careful who you idolize, many times they are not who you think they are.

I have heard several references to an "emergency brake" on American vehicles but have never encountered one here; we have only service brakes and parking brakes, frequently referred to as footbrakes and handbrakes respectively.

You'd hate my 99 suburban then, lol. It'd needed a pitman arm for the last 3 years, and whats funny Im also a Mechanic, ford Mechanic, but my own stuff I just idk what it is, I just hate fixing my own stuff, especially since its really a work truck anyway, I still have yet to install the front diff for it, its been making noise for the last 6 years I've owned it. But cars like my grandmothers, I always make sure its in good shape, it just my stuff I tend to neglect until its really bad lol. Well my 92 Silverado I don't neglect that thing, I'm always on top of that, Too good of shape to let it go even though its got 400k miles on the body.
