Hello Everybody! Good day to you! The following footage is exactly why I Think everyone needs to have a dash cam watch the left lane? Yeah! See that Jack wagon that almost got me and that other guy killed I think he was on his way to Desoto Raceway Park Because Thursday Night is test in tune. Open to the public. Here it is again at half speed. We were three wide right here I Didn't even realize what happened until the guy passed me. Fortunately for everybody, I've got a rear view mounted camera as well. We're going from a four-lane Surface Street down to a two-lane State Highway The speed limit picks up to about 60 miles an hour through here. I think I'm moving about 50 at the time. Just rolled through a green light. Look at that. look at how close that was. Again, at half speed, you can see the guy move over towards me because that car is on the other lane. Look at that. That dude did not even know what just happened. that piece of crap Mustang was inches away from my left side. so a couple miles down the road I Get behind this truck and he hits the turning lane and look who I see right in front of me. there's our boy caught up in traffic. So I think I'm gonna be slick and I'm gonna get his tag number because it's time to call Highway Patrol on this one or I'm gonna pull him behind him at the racetrack and embarrass him in front of his friends. He notices it's me and he pulls over to let me buy and now we're having a police chase look at this bull. watch what he does next playing the chase game because I know he's but he goes lights out, floors it 100 miles an hour Again passes this poor person who's just trying to go home from work and over the hill he goes. but we are coming up on the racetrack. It's tough to make out up ahead because of oncoming traffic. but I can see him get over into the turning lane that heads into Desoto Speedway Pretty sure that's where he was headed I'm pretty sure this regular Mustang person is freaked out a little bit. He's going about 40 miles an hour so I'm gonna go around him know right here I can see Evel Knievel come back out into traffic. there's a car leaving the racetrack making a left and the other guy blew past the Raceway and he kept on going a little bit. I'm pretty sure he knew I was going to follow him in there and make a scene so he kept on going. He still lights out right now but there's a turn coming up and I can see his brake lights come on and then he hooks a right. As soon as we Crest this hill we're going to see some headlights and once those pass, we're going to see our rusting boy take that right hand turn and then he's going to floor it and disappear one more time. I've decided not to follow him because it's only going to escalate very poorly for both of us at this point and I need to go home I Don't feel like having Mustang car chase, although wiping his face across the hood of his car and then setting it on fire would make my day. That puts me in perpetrator territory and I'd rather not. What this little turd does not understand is that Bradenton and Sarasota are Word of Mouth kind of towns and I know he's already talking, especially if he went back. So that being said, I'd like to find out who this person is. So here's what I'm willing to do: I will give the first person one thousand dollars cash in your hand if you find out who this little nugget happens to be because I need to have a talk with his mom. This kid clearly has no regard for his own life, but what he does not understand is he just risked two or even three or four other people's lives tonight and that's just not cool. I Know the footage is pretty grainy and it's dark outside, but if you know Turd Nugget is, you let me know. And as for you, Mustang Turd Nugget If you happen to see this, I'll settle for an apology, but you're not getting that thousand dollars. And by the way, Florida State Patrol and Manatee County Sheriff's Department already has a copy of this footage. They're not too happy with you either. To help out all my investigators out there, this is in Manatee County Florida on State Road 64. just west of the DeSoto Speedway It's 11, 17, 22 and I think the time was approximately 7 40 p.m That's eastern time and we're looking for a black piece of crap Mustang probably with the exhaust cut off. Oh and one more thing. your car is actually not that fast. Sorry to tell you bro. Thanks for watching everybody. Hope you can help me find this little turd.

There's always been dangerous meathead on the road: they all forget they can get killed and most important, kill others! This guy has definitely not his place on the road nor on a speedway.
Your video let me shivering, remembering the accident I had in circumstances very similar… I was riding my car just under the legal speed limit to pass an evident police control on a road with a two lane restricted to one, this guy could not overtake, hit me with a speed exceeding 100 mph the 30 mph legal. In a road configuration similar to your incident, I had no time to do anything and just saw the terrifying impact coming in my rearview mirror… My commercial station wagon with reinforced rear with no back seats was bent in the middle, the rear wheels were blocked, but I had the chance to remain sufficiently lucid to avoid being dragged in the oncoming traffic. The "gendarmes" actively rescued us, packed their control machine and rapidly concluded the guy was literally driving while blind, with a measured alcohol more than twice the then legal limit, and a measured speed triple the speed limit. The guy was safe, not suicidal, but dumb and unconscious, and was so drunk he could hardly walk or speak: he spend the night and following day in jail to recover some sort of sobriety to be judged. I had a back injury that gave me pains for years, the guy lost everything, his car, his job with his driving licence, his family, and huge debts with a colossal fine and insurance problems. We were both alone in our cars, and nobody else was injured or killed, but that was a near miss and the insurance company expert said I was the few percent lucky…
That is brutal. "Kids" generally have no appreciation of consequences. They may say they do, but usually they don't. You have to be alive in this world for quite some time before you "get it." Actions really do have consequences and eventually they catch up to you. Hopefully it doesn't happen on a cold slab.

Police can do this. with the location and time data of your recording. the phone data will show his location and correlate it to mustang owner.

Depending on how good the night vision is on your dashcam. I believe that you could still read the plate number of that Mustang. Just by digitally enlarging the shot. I know that with my dasham which is the Thinkware U-1000 It has some awesome night vision capabilities.

I don't know Florida laws, but in Wisconsin he could get charged with recklessly endangering safety while using a dangerous weapon, (the car). That carries a maximum sentence of 17 1/2 years for each person he put at risk.

This isn’t snitching. This is an honest man who busts his ass and puts himself in danger due to the nature of his work. To top it off, we all know mechanics aren’t paid fairly, but he still makes it work to provide for his family. Guarantee he has no issue being a badass if needed. All this being said, it’s sad to see some ignorant kid endanger those around him. Sure, he probably knows what he’s doing. But is it really worth risking other’s safety (by even 1%, let’s say) for the sake of “car go vroom”? These types of guys aren’t typically REAL criminals. Just some entitled kids who think their billy badass. Quite frustrating.
Had that happen to me one time except the dude passed me at 125 mph with a county sheriff car chasing him and about lost it. He blew through a police checkpoint but ended up t boning a motorist who had the right of way including a green traffic light but didn't have time to react. Don't know if the fugitive and the motorist survived the car crash though. Had another incident where I was driving a heavy commercial truck and yet another fugitive was trying to outrun a deputy sheriff. They were oncoming and were crossing a bridge with concrete outside walls. I saw what was happening and pulled halfway over off the road on account that I didn't want to get all the way on to the shoulder and risk turning the truck over. The fugitive saw that and used that not bright idea to try and ram the side of the patrol car and the deputy sheriff used their patrol car to force the fugitive off the road already had a gun drawn on the guy while the guy was trying to un jam his transmission.

Dont chase them, dont get 'revenge', and dont 'tattle' on them to the police, it's rarely worth it, can end up badly and it sets a precedent for when other people just barely go over the speed limit, or make a wrong move by accident and then happen to do it in front of a Karen that blows up the story of what actually happened and someone loses their license/car over it.

Why the hell would you drive like that in a mustang, the suspension system in that cars not set up for stability. Hes going to end up in a curve he can't take at a ridiculous speed. Its one thing to dive fast on a 4 lane devided hwy and in your own lane but passing on a 2 lane blacktop between 2 cars is wreck less driving and it could cost other people there life. i hope your state has something similar we have where I am. With the speed and dangerous driving that fool was doing he would have lost his licence & his car. We have strict laws about that where there is instant impoundment of the vehicle, usually for a month the first time, maybe a little longer the second time, then forever the third time. If they were doing what te fool in your video was doing, the vehicle would be impounded & sent the crushers regardless of whether it was the fist offence or not. There was talk about the offender watching it being crushed then taken back to the jail. I can't remember if that last bit was legislated, I hope it was. I hope it is something that happens in your state. He is a menace and the full force of the law should be applied in this instance. Please keep us informed Ray.

have you asked the raceway people if they have security cameras – a security guard or office person may give you his reg plate if you give them the time and car type – then you can report him to police and provide his plate with the video footage

i have a family member who drives with the mentality "if you didnt want to get there now why didnt you just walk?" so they drive well of post speed limits, pass in no passing zones/blind hills and corners, ignore "no turn on light color signs, and treat most stop lights as stop signs. they dont do exactly what this guy does but i have a feeling they'd get along.
Important thing to remember here is folks like that are also the type that would pull a gun on you had you actually followed him. Also no reason to be a vigilante

It never fails on a two lane I'll come up on a car doing 60 in a 75 until I go to pass and they speed up. Too much road rage . I pass folks on a hwy cause they don't go the speed limit, but when I hit town and speed drops the same car can't wait to speed around me honking horn and flipping me the bird. Can't go speed limit on the hwy but can go over in town , I don't understand
That person right there is 90% of the drivers in Arizona. People in everything from Avalanches to Prius to Zephyrs drive like that around here, its ridiculous. That behavior is also why I'm an opponent of making everything faster. Not only do people not understand that speed is an addiction with diminishing returns but they don't understand that you risk your life everytime you sit behind the wheel. I'm glad no one got hurt and I hope the long arm of the law crushes that driver in its grip.

Idiots exist no matter where you live. I'm several miles south of a race track and still see them in my neighborhood. The ones that come through my neighborhood usually run the stop signs, too. Sometimes they end up hitting each other like total idiots…

Why look for him? Do you think you can educate him? On the road, don't be right, be smart. A confrontation with him can develop into your or his murder, in both cases you are finished.
Another huge reason to have dashcams is because of greedy dishonest people causing wrecks and then taking advantage of the lack of witnesses and then hiring a corrupt injury law firm to commit insurance fraud. This very thing happened to me and is the reason why I drive with dashcams everywhere I go ever since.
I purchased a dash cam 4 years ago. I would only consider dual cams for the full story. I actually used the rear camera to figure out how and when a police car noticed that I was answering a cell phone at a red light before I was given a ticket two blocks further. Bad timing for me.
Traveling Chicagos interstates , I see this everyday. Police presence has almost gone non existent so the inpatient dare takers are becoming more aggressive and reckless

I had some thing similar happen to me a few weeks ago. i came to a stop light to make a left turn and entered the turn lane. Some idiot had pulled into the opposite lane to get around me to get into the turn lane. He saw my blinker at the last moment and slammed on the brakes and floored it to get around me and cut me off to get into the turn lane ahead of me. I followed him for a few minutes since he was going the same way I was . But like you said, I wasn't going to chase him. I saw where he was speeding and cutting off people in front of me. It looked to some kid with a loud muffler.
As a mustang owner and mustang enthusiast i condemn this kind of mustanging. That poor sweet mustang deserves an owner that doesn't beat on it. that's why they should have mustang abuse laws and also mustang neglect laws

I have to agree that a dashcam is a must in every vehicle. They are relatively inexpensive now and there are more idiots on the roads than ever before. My dashcam has captured some things that really make me wonder why insurance companies are willing to insure some of these people. I also wonder when we as a nation will reevaluate how easy it is we make it to get a drivers license.
