Now that the cross member is installed it is time to put in the front 3 link long arms. I imagine there are some points installing the long arms I could have gone about it a different way but hey, hind sight is always 20/20 right!? -Enjoy!

I'll be happy just to get new hub bearings in the front of mine,,,man parts are outragess now a days
Did u need new drive shaft for rear and did u need drop pitmen arm for steering
Talk about a lucky little Jeep. A whole new life with a genius auto repair person with a complete vision for improvements and the ware with all to pull it off. And how lucky are we to watch it all happening.👍👍😎
I know it's way late but if you cut angles on the lower shock bushing rods they go on a lot easier.
Good job so far
May i suggest a snorkel kit…. just in case
Just curious…. your doing All this work… but your not upgrading the brakes
you need to check the close captions, it has you saying all kinds of shit, has you swearing when your not, pretty funny to me, but, the others that can't hear you,?
I need to know if my 4" lift requires changing rear gear?
I love watching these with closed captioning on. "She gingerly bought trigger control."
I use my Carolina Creeper all the time… works great… And, replacements are cheap should you damage it…
How's the wj now?
You're doing a fantastic job! Thanks for the ride along.
looks like fun
I must be # 4000! Toggled the like button from 3.9K to 4K!
ALL 4 SHOCKS ARE UPSIDE DOWN. YOU POINTED OUT YOUR MISTAKE IN THE REAR THEN REPEATED THE MISTAKE IN THE FRONT. AS I SAID BEFORE WATER WILL STAY TRAPPED IN THE RUBBERS AND WIPE OUT THE SHOCKS IN NO TIME.
Congrats Eric on your off road project… looks good so far. I'm surprised that you don't install a winch in the front in case you get stuck …. lol.
Eric o, bar pin eliminators. You can buy them
All those tools and you don't have a set of gear wrench flex heads??
how much did u adjust the upper and lower arms on the 6.5 Lift?
Every step in the right direction is a victory. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing with us.
Did you lengthen the control arms a little from the recommended length? This would increase the wheel base giving more tire clearance on the body opening wheel well. Will the factory driveshafts be long enough?
Hey my question is someone said I could just upgrade the springs and then the control arms is that true ?
No reason to be disappointed. You’re doing a great job, Eric. Thoroughly enjoyed the video as well as all your other ones.
its always a good day when your working on your jeep!!!!
Unpopular fact: "heighth" is not a word
Why are you disappointed. I watch a few of you guy’s and all of you are way to hard on yourselves. All you guys are really good, sharp mechanics. Give yourself a break your doin fine.
I hope it will be worth all the Money and Aggravation it cost you!😀
I guess what I have heard and read about Jeeps is that you have to spend a fortune for up grading the drive and suspension components to off road them or they break a lot?
Whole week bingeing SMA and love this channel!!!
better man than me
Looking brand new , would love to know how much you have in it ? $$$$ I won't tell Mrs O ….LOL
Still got your wj just got one . 2003 4.0
I truly enjoy your sense of humor and the sheer humility in which you operate.
Those coopers are great tires.. Been running them on my 03 3/4 ton dodge for 3 years now and they are doing as good or better than the BFGs they replaced.. Will be putting them on my Dakota here in the next few weeks
Love this channel E.O.!
A little tip from a fellow Wheeler… Turn the upper shock mounts 90 deg to match the orientation to the axle shock mount. Less bind on the upper mounts when flexing out.
Thanks for the fun and knowledge you share.
what cordless ratchet is this? is that a dewalt battery in it?
Jeeps has been in NY short time and already has rust.
How do you remember to do all the procedures you bypass with plans to do later?
Be sure to glue your dentures in before you drive that vehicle
Most people when they have an imaginary friend it is the same gender for some reason you have Marie. Joke I have seen her hand floating.
Carolina Creeper? As a Carolina boy, I take offense to that… we also use old Uhaul blankets! They're a bit more forgiving on the gravel. (Obviously not offended)
More than basic geometry !!!
Great videos !!!
It s all about the struggle . It makes the finish job personal and more satisfying. Go Eric!!
I think you would've been better off shortening the spacers 🙄
Nice!!
well shoot I was thinking instead of using the string that cant be found.. why not use some wire lying around the shop.. just a thought.
Hey Man. Love the videos! Ironic I'm putting an 04 wj with a IRO 4 link rear with BDS 4 inch lift springs, and the front high clearance critical path and some sleeved axle front and back and many other upgrades! I am not a mechanic, more of a hobbies. But Im learning some shit from ya and a applaud! Several questions or ideas! Have you seen the kid that did the video of cutting spare tire holder out and lifting your gas tank up? Wiring question for the abs? Fuel lines? are you going to bend your own? Or customize? Sorry for the long message .
