Wow I never even knew Chevrolet made a four banger pickup, especially one down near 2.5k cc. Turbocharged it might be good but seems anemic to me. What kind of highway mpg does it get?

Refreshing to see an honest mechanic I swear every time a shop sees a work truck they automatically think it’s going t pay for their next vacation this last time it went in it must have paid for a few vacations bill of just over 19 grand

When diagnosing problems my Electrical Engineer son would say "look for where the humans were last". And "start with the simple things and move up from there". A take off on the the medical student training "when you hear hoof steps look for horses not zebras". Good vid. Thx.

Almost looks like someone was putting your shop to a test too. Great to see honest mechanics still exists few are out there.
When I used to come across carelessness of this type, it always prompted me to look (on motorcycles) for more errors. On one occasion, eccentric wiring pathing after a service caused me to really look carefully at my bike after a service, – ended up with me finding the front brake arm was held onto it's spline by nothing by tradition – no pinch-bolt! The mechanic responsible for overseeing the clot responsible just looked completely sick. This howler of an error was in the workshop of one of the largest dealerships in the south east of England, bloody good thing I spotted it, as it'd have chucked me into the road on the way home. The offending pinch-bolt being found after a brief search on the floor of their workshop. Bloody scary.
Every day some mech/ tech mistakes ..careful you get it right or get legal letters later when car owners sue the former garages owners..

Hi Ray. I've been a vehicle repair guy, mechanics and crash, for 30 years and I find your work ethics and methods refreshingly exemplary and really enjoy watching your channel. It's like watching a clone of myself. It's great when I make the same predictions as yourself. There are times I wish I could give you some input on some of your jobs to help out, but you always get there in the your work is Top Notch 👍🏻
