can i buy the old clock-spring from you? mine broke (stereo volume and horn stopped working on the steering wheel)
What kind of scan tool are you using?
No apretó el tornillo final sólo lo hiso con los dedos😆😆😆😆
You just saved me a ton of time – was having that exact issue on a 2010 frontier after changing the clock spring
The resister is bad in blower motor.
It looked like an Etch-a-sketch on the screen!
Most people are like fuck that I'll pay 5mill to fix,Until you get tools and start fixing your car you'll love the $ you save and if I can,you can trust me
I was waiting for you to start it… I have a 2007 Crew Cab Frontier with 87,900 original miles and for the past few years it always has a few seconds clatter sound when starting up cold… I'm on the Nissan Frontier FB group and most members with Frontiers from 2019 on down have that same few seconds clatter… But when its warm up doesn't make that clatter sound.. Looks like that Pathfinder started normal sounds… How weird..
So that's how Pong and ATARI works!
Goodevening sir,May I know the part number of the whole assembly of the multi switch with airbag clock spring assembly, thanks and more power to your show.
Don't give the government any ideas about a license.
Wouldn't you mark the steering wheel before you remove it? Centerpunch. Then there would be no guesswork in reassembly.
You never cease to amaze
You are opening the bag to reveal the unboxing that you already unboxed. 🤣
Here in Oz, everyone wants to see a "formal" mechanic trade qualification before you get hired. Keeps a whole raft of bureaucratic idiots in paid employment to control this system I suppose. Shame about the old guys like me that were doing this before these things came in.
Eric O.'s Periodic Table:
– Chinesium (ChN3)
Been there done that the blower motor on our xterra seized and blew all the fuses and the thing that made the blower speed selector was crap too not to mention the fella who beat the tar out of his girlfriends car took out the cabin filter and only put half of the new one in so it was full of leaves muck and crud. Pulled it all down and cleared it and rebuilt the entire unit condenser and heater core were both new
Very entertaining Eric O @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC
Cool I thought it was missing something their not all that dissimilar to the xterra and I did get into mine and replace a switch for the lights and wipers but everything else was fine yes I did disconnect the battery so those pesky airbags wouldnt get me.
I AM ALSO A MASTER TECH. AND HE IS VERY GOOD, HE WOULD DO WELL IN THE SOUTH WERE I AM. NONE OF THAT RUST CRAP FROM THE ROAD SALTS THEY USE UP THERE.
And the moral of the story is: don't buy a Nissan.
Eric you need licenses to fix Tesla’s Cars!
Great video, great strategy, very logical, and the most important at the end that you have another very happy customer who will come back for sure for more service. You deserved the respect and trust.
The mechanics like you Eric should be treated, trusted, and respected like doctors in hospital cause we are doing the same thing performing good diagnose, and fixing things for clients. Big thanks from Canada to you Eric and keep up the good work, and see u soon.
What's up with the whole battery connecting / disconnecting stuff? Are you afraid that the airbag is going to fire spontaneously? And if so, why are you not afraid it's going to fire randomly when driving the car?
I've been removing and re-installing airbags from cars for a long time now, and almost never disconnected the battery. I trust that the airbag module is safe and will not trigger based on (dis)connecting an output, even in case of an electrostatic discharge. I only see a possibility for it firing when someone puts 12v on the wires from some other circuit. So the only exception is when I did not remove the airbag myself, or I or someone else did some wire repairs near the airbag wires while it was removed.
Or are you disconnecting the battery for some other reason?
I like the test rides. Makes me feel like we are going somewhere
I could never figure these cars out like you do ..My cars would be in the junkyard
I cant deal with new cars .too confusing
My Florida 1971 Cb750 honda doesn't need one of those steering gimmicks
Nice – Hit those "bumps" after she just had a wheel alignment.
Like the "if I can do it…" Catch phase. All you need is ..public liability insurance …£000s of test equipment, years of experience and an understanding of what it is your doing !!!! Other wise …keep a fire extinguisher handy remember folks if its not broke Keep fixing till it is
Good fix Eric O.
Wow don’t need a licence for a mechanic shop? Loving America more everyday
Wassup Eric
I've been watching your video since 2018 probably. I work with routers mainly but I can easily repair cars, washing machines, fridges or anything that works with electricity.
But now something has changed and it is your fault. I started to call anything I'm working on "the apparatus".
It easier and it makes really easy to refer to the device when you're not calling it with it's name!
CoronaScam. Please don't eat the bullshit.
I'm not surprised that there are people taking money to work on cars who lack common sense and good work habits, because I've seen the same in many other occupations. If more folks had those two things SMAR and I would have less work and be less valued, but the world would be a happier place. Eric is my kind of folks.
