TIme for 2 rows of wall e-track to hold tool boxes. Two self-tappers every 16" will hold the e-track nicely. (That is if the sidewall frame is really every 16"…many do not match the roof supports.

Now that the net recognize your income resource are mobile, it's optimal securing them with recording surveillance means and tracking devices. Don't hurt the hands that feeds you repairs, turn the bad into something good. It's too bad, folks turn into trollies going to far. Constructive criticism out weighs the consequences and doesn't endanger Ray Ray's good will sharing auto fixes and self YTB employment successes.

I bought a similar enclosed car hauler trailer back around 2018. 24ft, but mine was all aluminum. Entire trailer was only 2002 lbs. Mine had 7k axles. I paid $15,899 for mine. Probably a bargain compared to what it would be now. I'm happy that I paid it off early last year. To me it was worth the cost even if I only ever use it as a shed. I had stuff in rental storage unit and it was $100/month. Buying the trailer made sense. I've hauled as much weight as possible 1600 miles each way at Max legal weight of 26,000lbs including my truck.. trailer performed great. I laughed when I put it on the CAT scale to prove I was legal to Cop and it weighed 25,961 lbs… The cop started laughing because I was legal by only a few lbs. At 26k I'd have to have a CDL. He was trying to get me for not having CDL, I'm just glad he didn't break down the actual weights because my trucks rear axle was over and the trailer was just a little over.

I am sure out of the 2032 comments somebody has said something about not having a safety pin in your hitch. Please use one. Every trailer that comes in my shop gets one welded to a chain free of charge if they don't have one. One jumped off a ball few years back and the tongue went thru my wife's windshield into her head rest. Luckily she saw it coming and ducked into the seat. Came out of it without a scratch but when the highway patrol come up they asked if the body had already been removed before realizing she was standing beside him.
First thing I did was spray mine (which was brand new in 2017) with truck undercoating the day after I bought it and the wood on the inside got 2 coats of flood porck and deck clear wood tone. Still working on to getting my tiedowns and load bars set to haul my riding mowers in, being a Refurbisher I buy sell and trade for old mowers no one else want's even if I buy 2 and use one to fix up the other.

Yup need to water seal and marine paint that exposed wood. The wire slicer splicer deals for the brakes are also something I'd replace :_) I don't like vibrating connectors the cut wire to make a connection just call it bad ju ju. I use an ATC (Aluminum Trailer Company) 24' square nose car hauler as my work trailer. I install windows and doors. We outfitted our trailer with the cargo bars from Princess Auto, like your Harbor Freight. I believe there called E-track or EZ-track. Either way I've been doing this for about 10 years in this trailer and haven't had anything move move yet, even on ROUGH country roads. If you want to be able to secure things to the wall I think that's the best way. It's the same stuff you'd find in a shipping box truck. Good luck and enjoy your new trailer!

Hi, Ray, I used to drive a five tonne truck with a 24' box, 9' high. the walls are constructed out of aluminum, the uprights are a Z bend aluminum stud, if you will. I installed 3 rows of E track horizontally the full length of the box, and have had some heavy stuff strapped to the walls with no negative consequences. You could look into that.

Wondering if E track on the sides would work better for you. Same stuff they use in semi trailers.
After you get the bottom side of the floor painted, you might consider having a company that installs ductwork sell you some flat metal sheets, so you can cut it to fit underneath and cover up as much of that floor as possible

Fully understand in the trailer dept. Lost out on a good 20ft deck-over gooseneck because I didn't offer the seller full asking price of 1000 to see what he would do in place of waiting for another buyer that got in before me that was going to take a look & pay only 800. Resulted in jumping on what turned out to be a 20ft mobile frame turned into a flatbed…has the broad 4 bolt wheels where the hub does the load bearing work…thought was channel iron but was thinner 2X6 box tubing when saw in person. Light but still strong but was really worth maybe 2/3 of the 1200 (was listed for 1500) I paid but didn't want it to "get away". It ended up sitting & didn't get anywhere w/ upgrading it for the last 3 years.
Finally found this summer a homemade heavy I-beam rig w/ aircraft landing mat runners the same size that as-is can haul a full size backhoe…has large 2x 5×5.5 lug vs the small so still about 5k ea. Have a couple 6 lugs if to go under if needs be…axles will break LONG before the trailer body (itself probably good for 15 tons) ever does. Trailer was listed for 1900 & worth every bit of it & was prepared to pay it…but since I went up to grab it after work (County) & since was still in work clothes & was apparent I wasn't some Joe-Blow-Nobody…without prompting or haggling an even 300 got knocked off the top.
The previous mistake will now get cut down & converted into a dumper after replacing the axles w/ couple 5k ea or install a 3rd broad-4 that I have.
Make good on it somehow…
Just a lesson if you find something you want…don't rely 100% on the seller giving 1st dibs to people in line even though it's great they are willing to honor agreements like that. If it is well worth what they are asking & someone else might be on the way & be paying less…offer up the full price. I didn't & lost out. Worst they can say is NO & just hope the other guy falls through.
Why can't you raise the gate a foot or so off the ground to avoid being so close to the ground?
Be your own boss and be a mobile tech. Make your own ours and only drawback is no lift. You could buy portable lift.

There might be enough space up there to install a seperate VENTED and sound insulated enclosed box for a generator.
Look at e track that you can put on the wall.
Generators need a solid mount, better off cutting a hole in the side for vent/door, and bolting it to floor.

Ray, don't forget that if your trailer has a GVWR of, let's say, 10,000lbs (2x 5k axles), +/-10% of that weight is supported by the rear axle of the tow vehicle. So if you load it to 11k, you're most likely still perfectly safe and legal.

In the photo of the bottom of the new trailer, you called it plywood. Plywood has a uniform layer on each layer that is visible on the top and bottom of the sheet. Particle board is made up of small particles of wood (slightly larger than sawdust) that are mixed with a glue and then pressed together. This is most often used in the core of the wood in inexpensive wooden furniture. Your floor is at times called chip board or wafer board as it is made up of larger pieces of wood glued and pressed together. You can see the large pieces of wood in the flooring.
Definitely paint it, several coats, as you don't want a lot of moisture getting to it or it can begin to come apart.
