Thanks brotha!!! FIXED!! YOU DA MAN!!!!!!
Got few questions for you
Did the vehicle have a rough idle?
" not rocket surgery "
Great video. I have a question related to this. Does the purge vavle effect fuel trim? Its hot here (44 c) abd the purge valve is around 20% open more or less. And my ltft is -14 to -20. No engine light.
Good info Mr. O.. For those that don't have a fancy pants bi-directional scan tool the purge valve is easy enough to bench test. All you need is a 12 volt source and your lungs. A vacuum pump wouldn't hurt to have either. 😉
Hi Eric, are you using a different camera in past month or so? A lot of recent videos will get audio out of sync with video and video does a slow down or maybe its losing frames. I just watch a very old SMA video and it played perfectly. I thought it was a Google update on this phone but don't think so. I can fix the out of sync audio and slow video by a click to Forwarding to next video then click to reversing back to the video having the problem. Anyone else seeing the out of sync audio? Also sometimes the video freezes, the forward the reverse also fixes this. Looks like it started problem 2-3 months ago spot checking videos.
Quick tip Tuesday on a "?"day? You can't tease us like that!
Great visual Eric!
Niceee!!! And thanks.
Does Mrs.O know you bought a new toy?
Any way to spray brake clean (DAHDUM) through to free up the purge valve internals?
Listening to my local college station and they announced "The Bad Plugs" will be playing Sat night.
GOOD JOB

Hello to everyone I NEED HELP SOMEONE HELP 2004 chrysler pacifica both driver side (Windows passenger and driver window on driver side)…no power and I have tried alomst everything but replacing the motors .. I also have a problem with my driver side mirror does not work no power to that and trust me I have tried almost everything anyone have any idea?
"The back door is closed" That, I will remember. Easy to follow along for the fix too.
Another master class in rocket surgery from Dr. Eric. Quick and insightful!
Right again o great one..lol I always check with a vacuum gauge along with the purge and seal test. Got to be sure, for sure…lol
now i can blow the dust off my vacuum gauge since you showed me a good use for it, thanks Eric O
I have a 97 GMC suburban with 5.7eng I found that the 3/4"vent hose from the top of the tank to filler neck but I didn't any evap codes! what should I check?
NAPA. Never Any Parts Available.
11,668th. BOOM. 😁
can snap on scanners do the ford purge and seal test? (turning the vent on and purge at same time)
excellent your videos, here in Brazil the OTC and SNAPON scanners are very expensive, AUTEL does not have to sell. I really admire the quality and variety of tools you have. very good.
great video learning a lot thanks
Nice.
Oh, that's a tricky one indeed! Great tip Dr. O. Thanks!
TWO Excapays in one week?
I live to see brake cleaner…. 🙁
Great stuff as usual, thanks.
Great to see the before and after.
Im tired I need to take a Napper.
Good v ideo. Weren't units on Autel actually psi and not inHg?
Ahhhh I feel better after a fix of SMA. I can go make dinner now 😂
On paper, EVAP problems should be easy, they are very simple systems. But just like a bowline knot, simple design can be deceivingly complex.
Have GM 3800 engine. OBD2 indicated bad purge valve/solenoid. Bought one …went to r&r and discovered that someone had applied electrical tape over the connector on one of the nylon vacuum lines. Removed tape and found the connector was cracked. Do they make replacement end connectors for these lines or do I have to replace the whole assembly? Also will check engine light go off by itself when computer recycles or must code be cleared? Thanks
MORE Hanna videos please. I like to see women work.
Wouldn't it been nice if we could have gone to a class like Eric O.'s instructional,, instead of English Lit.??
I missed my brake clean.
awesome!!
Your the man
Air tool was sinc'd with button presses at end. Had me trip'n on that wicked vacuum
SMA im ready to see another josh video when you have the time see hows he learning
don't get fooled by the vac gauge….good tip eric
"rev up your engines" oh crap wrong channel…hahaha!
I'm trying to test this but the scantool won't allow me to open the purgevalve while it's running (it's says conditions have to be met, which includes engine off), got any tips? I find it really strange how you're supposed to test a purge without vaccuum, scantool is Autel Maxisys.
Your parts will be ready for the crapper, if you order from Napper! Nice video as always Eric!
"Not Rocket Surgery" or "Brain Science" just talent, experience, and wisdom.
