Half hour from where I am , the manufacturer of those “made in Canada “ gas straps are made along with tanks , sending units and radiators. It cheaper for me to order from rock auto and drive an hour to PortHuron , Michigan , pay the duties etc……

I have a Buick lucerne 2009 I’m having a hesitation between 50 and 60kph changed plugs cleaned throttle body mas and I’m still getting the hesitation I haven’t checked my plug wires I’m gunna mist them and do a visual check on them but no check engine light or misfires shown I’m lost on what to check high way speeds drives fine it’s just between there uphills are a struggle and flat roads between 50 60 the hesitation happens and the rpm slowly drops no stalling

Removed the acdelco o.g spark plugs out of my 2007 buick allure after it started bucking, at 185k km. the originals. was not easy to remove the back three, i can tell you whot.
I had a stuck evap purge valve dumping vapors wouldn't idle when cold or wouldn't start after getting gas. Tested it by capping the throttle body. And sure enough that was it. Forgot to mention got evap leak code directly after starting and getting gas.

Went to replace my purge valve on my 01 cavalier and ever since then on idle every once in a while
I hear a rapid ticking sound on idle since I had to move my fuel rail out of the way… Replaced my fuel pressure regulator since I was also having start issues and a very rough idle fires up easy now reseat the dam injectors and rail still have intermitent ticking any guesses? Maybe I fowled up an injector?
I changed a fuel pump on a 23 year old old Chevy truck here in TN and the pump on the outside looked new, underside of the bottom of the truck looked clean too!

Ac delco iridium plugs never had a problem in my 06 Pontiac grand prix

Question? How important is the torque specifications when installing spark plugs. Being I am not a mechanic I dont have the mechanic muscle memory that someone like you has after installing thousands of plugs using a standard wrench. The specs for the plugs I've done seem to be surprisingly low poundage. Why is the poundage low. Is it really that important?
A friend of mine has an '08 Lucerne and loves the Buick ride in it.

I have learned so much from you it is unreal. I have binge watched all your videos for months and honestly it really does give you a better grasp on the functionality and relation that all these automotive components have in common or there single purpose.
I have made my own test light bulbs with various volts, obtained regular test light probe, good multimeter, and all around basic hand and power tools. Your videos have already saved me a boat load of dough on my awesome " Chevrolet" 😅… But in my defense it is the OBS, i do believe they were made a little better and more simplistic back then.

i bought some AC plugs today and they have the ridges on them like other brands first i have seen
If's an issue with that brand plug, why not go with a different brand?
