Oh there it goes. She's stalled so you squirt them. Nothing happens, you flick them up, motor shuts off. Yeah, that that's screwing up right here.
just wiggling. This is where we were having all of our issues before. He said she had extended warranty, but she said no way she going back to that dealer. She's already had it there a bunch of times.
I Guess trying to fix this issue? maybe it's loose from the factory? I don't know I don't know and I don't care I'm gonna get paid either way and we're moving on. So you guys keep on keeping on.

That's pretty odd! Reminds me of my old Pontiac Grand Prix that would turn off the headlights if you adjusted the fan speed up to 2, 3, or 4 out of 5, but not down to those numbers from the max speed of five. I still don't know what it was, but replacing the wiring harness in the steering column fixed it. I also don't know how my parts-store-coworker just knew it was that off the top of his head.
I drove a 60s Rambler that had vacuum-assist wipers that would stall when driving up a hill in the rain, but worked fine going back down the hill!

$5,000 says the dealer never actually put the transmission in Drive before trying the windshield wipers. They just assumed the customer was an idiot, rather than assuming she might actually be RIGHT so when they turned on the wipers and it didn't stall, they didn't investigate any further. Despite it coming back multiple times. 🙄
Hey Eric, when you post the shorts the full video isn’t showing up on my end. I have notifications set to all, but no video shows up. I just happened to click on comments for the short and saw the link. Then checked other shorts and realized I’ve missed quite a few full length videos that don’t even show up in my video feed. Maybe it’s just me, but if it isn’t it’s costing you views my dude.

Does not matter what make dealer.. they all suck… Ford, Toyota and Mercedes.. never use them.. always go to a small shop like SMA.. never let me down yet..

These are the same type of electrical issues I deal with in the forklift biz. They come with all kinds of gremlins straight from the factory

I’m sure there are mostly well meaning workers turning wrenches at dealerships. That being said I’ll be calling for an appointment, and making the hour drive to beautiful Avoca when something goes haywire on one of our vehicles.

Saw this on a carolla, except only when the headlights were on. There ended up being a ground rusted behind the left headlight. It was the victim of an accident and repair. Toyota in their wisdom put a lot of the grounds for a few systems behind the headlights.
Could you imagine being on a plane when the pilots turned on their wipers and the engines stalled.😬

I recently took my mom somewhere in my 1998 Ram pickup. It got dark on the way home so I turned on the lights. The horn started honking, the wipers turned on, and my mom asked me "What's that buzzing sound?" "It's green crusties on G-102, Mom, don't you watch SMA?" 🤣
Her reaction to not want to go to the dealer, even though it should be free, is interesting. We're seeing a massive retirement of baby boomers in all trades, and upcoming people may not have the depth of experience to easily recognize problems. This sounds pretty straight forward, but maybe they weren't able to reproduce the complaint when she brought it in.
