Ohhh we can do it but you make up the best jokes!! Missed your calling? Stand-up comic? Mrs. O is so nice. Won’t lie, kind of been binge watching, all good and have me laughing. Your made for fame!!😎😎😎

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Donald Kozak says:

My hat off to you sir! Great learning video, mostly for others in the industry for learning how to do the hard jobs. I have a greater respect for the shops that readily take these jobs that a dealership shop would never consider. As you alluded near the end, this car is not likely to see more than a year or so before heading to the junkyard. Gives us all an idea of just when to call it quits on a car. Certainly this one should have been a candidate for the chopper now.

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peter Cameron says:

First class, watched all of them yours is the best. Got my old bearing out- still to install the new one. Interesting that subys only came to Australia with rear wheel disc brakes on foresters.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sarah Morrell says:

I feel like I massively fucked something up.

you should probably stop using a forcing screw and start using a persuasion screw …. more equitable……i really enjoy these subaru wheel bearing videos, they are my favorite…..there is so much tension and suspense….removing that 1 foot long bolt seized in place is like watching the movie Das Boot during a run of depth charges….i could watch a new subaru wheel bearing video every day

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Thad Machia says:

Another awesome video Mr! Thank you! 😊

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joe's Garage says:

Here I am in 2021, dreading this awful task on my SVX. My only saving grace is that it's rust free. I just don't have all the necessary tools to do it quickly. It'll get done….eventually. I have the new parts, just need an open schedule.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dave Deanovic says:

Great job! 1st time watching this series. You also make it fun so- Yaaaa!!!! Learned a lot. Got to help my son with his 2002 WRX so we’ll see.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lee Carroll says:

    Love that rust belt.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Kelly says:

Hey Eric I’ve use those cut off blades (Diablo) they are great if you spray a little coolant on them while your cutting they last a lot longer you probably already know that anyway 👍

All that work for a car that has maybe juat weeks to go.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hawk 1966 says:

Looking at the wheel and the. . . what's left of the frame and the rot everywhere I'm surprised someone's putting money into this thing.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Scott Johnson says:

Is it possible to replace the hub only without destroying/replacing the bearing? A tire shop broke two of the original studs and drilled out the hub and replaced with oversize.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hillel Salzman says:

Hi, I've been a mechanic for over 30 years now. You make such enjoyable videos brother. You're great at what you do and make it fun to watch. Thanks, Hill

"Rust is my Middle name" 😄

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Maj. Dude says:

Mrs. O is the best. She comes in, holds her parts of a seven piece assembly, and doesn't miss a beat. Then she tosses you a nice lunch so you don't pass out.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bob Smith says:

I don't think they last much longer without the rust.
P.S. So that's what a real hammer looks like?

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Mason says:

They would have better spent the money on a down payment for a good use car

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Loutzenhiser says:

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jacob Clare says:

Do you remember what year Forester this is? Gotta do a rear bearing on my 07 model and I know some of the newer ones have a bolt on hub bearing

    You are the man 😉👍🏻

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stefan Ebner says:

Repair on rusty cars sometimes need that kind of treatment 😂
But if I would have done it that way during my vacational training, the other folks call it "Mad Max-style" repair…👍👍👍😆

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars KEN MCCORMICK says:

Not worth the blood sweat and tears for me to do it. Although not as bad a job in my area, they do not use salt on roads.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Wood says:

No snap ring on the back side to hold hub to bearing????

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars SC Flooring says:

I'd like another series of videos where you go back and see how many of these "this car doesn't have another year left in it" cars are still actually on the road.

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Driver0808657 says:

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Karl Engstrom says:

I'm doing an '04 Forester RR bearing right now. No rust but even with a brand new Earthquake XT impact wrench (supposedly 1190 ft/lb) and a fresh 2-stage 60gal compressor I couldn't get the nut off the lateral link bolt. Cut the head off the bolt and it slid out like butter. What the heck are those torqued to from the factory??

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars kong adong says:

would of been better to replace everything
    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Pedro Alvarez Ortiz says:

My 2005 forester rear wheels require new backing plate because they are both way rusted. Seems I need to remove the hub! My question is, after replacing the backing plate, to assembly back the hub do I need to disconnect the shaft and do it same way as after replacing the bearings? Or I can assembly back the hub (hammering it) back into the hole with out disconnecting the shaft? Any lead

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Karl Engstrom says:

Thanks for the videos! I'm working on the same corner wheel bearing on an '04 Forester out in the driveway right now. Hub is out but that lower control arm bolt is fighting me. It's not rusted up, the bolt will turn a little in the bushing (SE Texas here) but that nut will NOT bust loose. Used an electric 1/2" impact gun and 18" breaker bar. Nut is just getting beat up on the outside. Time for an air impact gun??

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Miguel Marquez says:

Am I the only one thinks he looks high asf in like half these videos? Not complaining just wanted to see if Im the only that noticed

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars It's all Fab ! says:

I love how all your "youtuber" voices sound like Keanu Reeves…. LOL….

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Aaron Belknap says:

No critisizm here, I just enjoy the video. I never seen a crack on the strut tower, nor have I looked. You did make my ball joint experience a lot better. I started it, gave a good whack with a hammer and it went in smooth as a baby's bottom. Chevy C10 with the big 5.7. I could hear that other bearing! Yikes. Stay healthy!

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Christo servant says:

Where I come from that axel grease is called hunnymoon salve. Lol

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Hilman says:

    Two things….
first… Your videos are extremely informative, and entertaining!!!!
and second… You married up dude. Mrs. O is very good to you!

Would you happen to have a video on how to do a front pipe(flex and Cat) on an 04 Hyundai Elantra?

  50. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars GTR KoN says:

Wait no never-seize or Fluidfilm? 🤣🤣 that can't be right!
