That one's as well. like 130 second uh, two with a nail in it and then this one over here. zero with secondary rubber. I'm a horrible person.
Yes, it needs an alignment I haven't done that yet. one more zero secondary rubber and 132nd maybe two. something like that. but I have these all right here.
I Was waiting for these to show up because I'm kind of specific on the tires that I like on this truck and they've been ordered for a while I have them now. Uh, many, many more. 30 seconds than zero. One and two.
these are uh, what were these things Grapplers Highway Terrains They're good tires I think they're 10 ply. They're rated for the truck. Yeah, 10 play. Yep, so these are going on uh sometime this week.

Dude, you gotta run less pressure in your rears. You probably have a portable compressor in the truck anyway, you can pump them up when you need to. Those are ten ply for a 1ton no doubt, door probably says to run 80 to 85 ps,.I would run between 5 to 10 pounds less than you have, especially if you're not hauling loads around all the time.
You look to be running your rears over inflated.

That would be your driving licence done for in the UK.
Tyres here must have minimum 1.6mm tread across the central 3 quarters.
3 points on the driving licence per defective tyre and 12 points equals a driving disqualification!
used to run 9ply on my 1976 real detroit thick steel mercury monarch 2dr (ford granada but merc with factory boss302 order).. cuz weight & tools in trunk 😆 🤣 😂

Ray, I drove 40,000 miles on a cheap set of tires for 2 years, because it took that long after covid to get the ones I wanted. Took a lot of flak for it, but when you have to run 6, 10 ply tires both on and off road, you know what you want and what will give you the best bang for your buck, as well as performance. Never explain yourself to those who are not walking in your shoes!

Well …understood my 2002 Ford ext oioomight get 114 k the odometer soon..have hiccup at times after 3 grand..she's a sweet truck…no other deep troubles at all…one check engine light.. Yet OK Vulcan 3.0.
Always oil change with filter.
Hick up strange… Yet pulled up 4 grand with none hiccups …replaced transmission switch… And washed mass air flow sensor..no worry's..thinking shes thinkn supersonic going back to the future stuff… Wish I was in gatorville and stop by and be annoying.

Seems like most people have never heard of Nitto. I used to run their… 555? (was 20+ years ago, I might have the number incorrect) drag radials in 275/50-15 size on the back of my Buick, and they always performed wonderfully. Well, there was that one time I was driving home and it started snowing, LOL – but I couldn't blame the hijinks that ensued on the tires .

I run those on my SRW Cummins tow pig, different size though. Not so great in the winter even though they’re M+S, but they’re not awful — MT…where it’s not uncommon for me to have to bull dog through a foot or two on the main road until I get towards town, they don’t plow if school isn’t running…and they don’t plow by 0600 when I have to leave to drive the bus lol…usually I put on a set of aggressive, lighter duty, more off road tires for winter when I don’t normally haul my 5th wheel, last set were Toyo open country.

Retired mechanic but still no excuse other than I was specific on tires I wanted for my Silverado LTZ. Even tho my truck is 4×4 I wasn’t wanting anything all terrain or luggy. I don’t drive this truck off road or winter, I drive it as a luxury vehicle. I opted for Toyo H/T ll , waited over 8 months during Covid for them . Your Nittos look nice and meaty , not luggy so should be a nice quiet ride

Nitto is a great brand, with car and truck tires. I sell a lot of the Ridge Grapplers. But, My heart is Falken Tires. Any Falken tire. I just love them.

How stupid are tyres. typical tyre is 185/55R16. This means 185mm tread width, 55% side wall to width and to fit a 16 inch rim. so that is mm,% and inches all on the same item. Why not make them one dimension standard instead of 3 different ones?
Never put max pressure in tire unless you're loaded,I hot shot for long time, they will ware in the middle, I run 55 to 60 in rear even less sometimes, if you load heavily then use max pressure, I have worn out many tires in the middle,

Ray, if that’s what you like i get it, but I’m here to tell you that the wild peak ats are the way to go on a one ton truck.. they barley wear out.. even with trucks that have a goose neck on them all the time..

What tire size do you run? I just bought a Silverado dually myself and it's running 235/85/R16s but I noticed the rears touch at the bottom and there's a rub mark all the way around. Apparently they've been that way for a while though because it's about due for a set, but it makes me uneasy and I definitely don't want any blowouts, so I'm looking into spacers for between the wheels, or maybe checking into some different wheels before I buy tires.
I like tires that are made out of Rubber too Ray, so you have you be picky. LOL
They looked a little dirty…perhaps some BRAKE CLEAN would have helped! LOL!!
