the different colors was the tell /wrong parts suck

Whoever was redlining the car in the background if that was done to my truck lets say 1 my engine 😱😵 then the person who did it pay for damages and fired.
I think all Mechanic shops should record what there doing like you so we can see the customer service and what they did to there car if something happens to well happen to there vehicle.

You have to be careful what lube you are using around O-rings. Some can quickly cause them to deteriorate/swell.
As for the metal clips for the injectors I almost always say they probably put them there for a reason or they wouldn't waste the money, only works 99% of the time. Sometimes they do some dumb stuff
So those upper o rings were visually thicker.. hopefully it's just the old lowers are worn more?
Unfucking believable, do you really think that the fuel was leaking form the lower o-ring? You damaged the upper seal upon installation, nothing to do with the size of the seal or quality of the part. "You heard a hissing sound" was that really the diagnosis procedure? This is a speed density system, "vacuum leaks don't bother no Dodge!" Should have scanned the engine management, observed the fuel trims, idle speed "trim/throttle angle". Was there any other indication? running rough? check engine light? Why would you have recommend this repair?
Problems with correct part SKU's and new parts fails have been a plague since the 2007 recession that only Ford survived in usa. The others went bankrupt and sold off most OE supporting MFG, R& D companies. GM had to go with Asian made driveshafts and rear axels then, for example. Buying Delco no longer was <1% fail as subcontractors merely put their junk in authorized Delco boxes as another. Chrysler became a mere 'Fig Newton' of it's former glory then and only the pickup is profitable now [with its completly severed from Chrysler, goat emblem]
Arn't these the same chysler products known for lo mile Injector fails………..etc. And more problems than a Mongoss has @ a Cobra rally
Could of covered intake opening with some tape , ur blowing dust into the intake .
Had the same problem and a similar problem.
One time had to swap out the injectors on a 280,xxx liberty. The parts place sent 6 injectors that were similar, they insisted that is what it called for. Showed them the old injector and the bottom of the injector did not have the o-rings. An hour job was finished the next day.
Love the content man! Great job. Your videos are genuinely entertaining and educational. I have been working on cars since I was a kid and have a bachelors in Auto Tech from SIU. Never found my place in the automotive industry. I'm an HVAC tech now and really happy. The basic concepts of an engine really apply to a furnace/boiler/AC and I'm happy I had a head start in automotive. Well done.

Kind of weird… I have done this Long Enough: I can order On Line directly from the Dealer… Same O-Rings top and bottom. You clearly showed that you chuncked one of the new ones. Most likely a couple. I have to wonder what kind of Lubricant Spray you are using? I also wonder why you are cycling the Key on a Returnless Fuel Delivery System? You are not Priming anything but the Fuel Pump Module… Doesn't really matter: You can show how you clearly screw up a repair but blame it on someone else every time. I now THANK YOU for these informative Video's … I added a Smart T.V. to the lobby of where I work. I play your Video's to show Our Customers how Repairs are done wrong and explain how they are done right. The overall response has been amazing. Keep up your Good Work!!!
When you work on fuel system , my suggestion is open the fuel cap first to release the fuel pressure before you work on the fuel system Ray . In old day all import hardly ever replace fuel injector seal on the manifold , now this dates the parts made in China . The quality not the same , my old car never replace manifold injector o rings until 23 years
well that went well. right down to the drop light going where it went.

After watching several of your videos, it appears that we aren't privy to how many hours you spent researching/studying how to do the 'Job', but it always looks like you are doing every 'job\ for the first time! There is a practiced art mechanics develop, by using 'Hand Tools' something your bumbling hands suspiciously lack. And your use of grandiose/ridiculous assortment of "New Fangled Electric Mortised Tools", leaves me as numb, as seeing you pick up a Nail/Ball Pane/Lump Hammer & Cold Chisel, that sends shivers down my spine.

Sometimes people don't understand the cleaning we mechanics have to do to fix a problem , I was working on a Kawasaki twin on a mower there was a oil leak on top breather, I was replacing I believe cylinder head, we had to scrape this thing and clean for hours , before I would take cyl head loose ! and obviously an oil leak

Nothing I hate more than techs who dont put shit back the way it came apart. Lazy, shoddy work is inexcusable. If I cant do the job I go back and look around the engine bay just because. Last windshield I had replaced they guy didnt put any push clips back in, broke a bunch and left them all over the place. W.T.F?

I have a question I have a 2017 Ford escape SE 1.5 and I've had to replace water pump now 3 times it's like every 5 months since last September I'm getting the impression the guys who did the job the first time are not doing something right or checking something they should be could you maybe put your two cents on this issue.
I had a 4WD Liberty. Was really disappointed with how gutless the 3.7L engine was. And all the scheduled maintenance required. Ooof.

at least it was better than when i changed my injectors, lets just say i let the car idle for few min before i notice the huge puddle of fuel on the garage floor..
I thought it was odd when the seals were different colours and the replacements weren’t. Car manufacturers aren’t that kind! 🇦🇺🍺🍺
When I saw the same colored o-rings being put on I was thinking something is not right. Imagine that.
When you have to go back and do the same job twice, because of a parts problem like this – who foots the bill for the extra hours? At least the fuel rail was more easily accessible than some other machines!
Yup locking clips are a good idea, put ‘em back
If you decide to omit those clips, you may well burn your car to the ground if the injector rail comes loose. Hopefully nobody is inside….
I had a Bronco about 30years ago that popped an injector out of the rail and doused the engine. Fortunately it never lit off. But every time I see those clips I think good they are.

You reminded me. Once, many years ago, I was testing the alternator on, I think it was a 85 Mustang II, and I dropped my 6" channel locks between the fan and the shroud. My buddy hit the deck but, they passed all the way through to the shop floor with no damage.

Had few instances like that with FelPro.
I would recommend using dielectric grease for lubing the injectors up. Lube the rail and injectors. It will slip in super easy and less messier than spray.
You couldn’t use a rag to catch the fuel spray?!?! I’d be coming to see you if this was my vehicle and I had seen this video….
