  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mandy Jones says:

folks just dont understand snap on give you a life time warranty no matter how you brake or ruin it

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Graybill says:

So many Karen's who just can't help but tell you what you're doing wrong, mind your own dam business, if you don't have something nice to say keep it too yourself. WE DONT CARE!!!!

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rod Bacon says:

I had no idea that Snap-On came with fuckwit insurance. I'll buy these tools from now on, even though I'd never weld my tools and then claim warranty.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Swampster70 says:

Agreed on the warranty. That's exactly why you pay so much of a premium because you know you'll have to do something like smack a tool with a hammer, hold a bolt while welding, remove a nut off a stud while everything is 800F and glowing hot and the handles melt on the pliers! SnapOn isn't engineered better than most quality tools like SK, Wiha or Facom but the warranty is gold!

If the system didn't work, the guy in the tool truck wouldn't be rolling around in such a fancy truck…

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Keith Michaels says:

I say that is exactly why you bought that tool, for its warranty, way to go. Trolls can take a hike

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Xombi Xombi says:

With snap you are a pro and if you get in early enough to wear out a tool several times you are ahead. For the home gamer, other than bragging rights, no vale la pena.
They do feel better in your hand. There is a certain satisfaction at the end of the day cleaning it up and seeing a pretty set. Ignore those that obviously haven't made the journey, or for that matter even found the road.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Sheridan says:

As much as you PAY for snap on tools ? I wouldn't feel bad about it for a HEARTBEAT!

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alaskan Wolf says:

Thats what happens when you put yourself out there. You have to take the bad morons with the good.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael A says:

They stand behind their products. If you can break them, they replace them.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Betz says:

That guy also has no idea what it cost to build a proper tool box as a technician. We spend more than you can possibly imagine on our tool and the reason being , i can break my shit and not worry cause snapon mac and matco will all warranty my shit almost no questions asked

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Majickk says:

What i have noticed is that car guys are way cattier that beauty guru chicks.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars eric cardinal says:

i have returned sockets and nut drivers under warranty multiple times over the years. as long as i didn't purposely mangle or modify them, I have never had a problem.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Enthusiast Mechanic says:

I believe many people don't understand that mechanics have spent thousands of dollars on a snap on truck and many times paid 3x the price it would normally cost for something. Snap on knows it and we as mechanics know it therefore they give us the freedom to warranty just about anything. Like you Ray when ever I have a "ABUSED" tool warranty I buy something off the truck and my snap on guy is happy to warranty my "ABUSED" tool its an unwritten rule kind of to say so with snap on!

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mark Craig says:

You are 100 percent correct. Keep up the good work.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The0d0r31c Of York says:

just remember the old saying, "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time!"

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stacy Dornan says:

Tell him to shut his lips or clamp his lips shut with the newpliers

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kevin Campbell says:

They know they are going to be replacing them. Thats why they cost so much.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Don Hall says:

Just to give my 2 cents i agree with you 100% i'm a tradesman for 40 plus years and i always buy top grade and if it becomes damage i take it back with no questions asked. Keep up the good work . I really enjoy your youtube and watch it everyday. Keep up the good work

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rich says:

Tools are meant to be used… Not kept in drawers to look pretty.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim says:

Rays like Biden, blames everything else but himself. Own up to your mistakes it makes better content when you are honest.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars xxxxCOOKIESxxxx says:

Who would care about your tools. You paided for them you work with your own tools. They are not borrowed from any one. What you do with them is your personal business. I would think your tool dealer would know what to do about warranty issues.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Jones says:

I would have warrantied them to back when I was the MATCO guy

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ElectroPig Von Fokkengruuven says:

Most people also fail to account for the fact that when a tool is warranty-replaced, the company also takes back the old/damaged tool, thus giving them the same quality MATERIALS that they can then recycle into new tool(s). The company NEVER loses, in the end…

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Edgar Prothero says:

All of you need to be careful, even you Ray. I fully understand the fact that you spend tons of money on your tools. It don't matter where you get them from. You expect the tool to perform for a specific amount of time. So do the manufacturers. When you deliberately or accidentally damage the tool, it changes the manufacturers data on the quality of what they are producing. This changes the "warranty" for everyone. Maybe you don't care -;that's ok. What goes around… Just trying to help.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Rizzo says:

Part of the high price of SnapOn is the no questions asked warranty. SO you are paying for it. Not ripping anyone off by getting the service you paid for.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Myers says:

The individual person who owns and operates snap-on trucks knows their customers and they know what kind of work they do in the environment the tools are in 98% of the time they honored their warranties and they take care of their customers would you put in is what you get out

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike says:

Shop owner should ask for % of revenue generated due to recording on his property.

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stephen Martin says:

Some of the tools are the best of the best. Some of the tools you're paying for interest-free financing, delivery, and the warrantee guy to come to you every week.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Turney297 says:

Apparently that guy doesn't understand there's a reason those tools cost that much

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joe Seabert says:

Sears had a lifetime warranty they honored, 20 year old drill. Replaced. This was back in the 80’s

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars PutZmeister13 N.A.F.I.G.Gaming Combat Officer says:

Damn missed the reeee on that one. It's snapon tools warranty for life. If you had melted them in half they would still give you another pair

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shawn West says:

for snap on prices I dont care if you take a cut off wheel to it they should warranty it. I did know a guy who would use craftsman snips so when they dulled he would break them and warranty them out for new… I cant say that kind of practice led to the demise of USA craftsman but it sure didnt help.

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Cain says:

Bro whoever complained has a stick where the sun doesn't shine I promise.

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars dad Achoski says:

There is a difference to 'Mechanical Failure' in a tool and deliberate abuse when it comes to warranty.

Trying to hold a nut with Needle Nose as you are using a torch to Burn a nut off is either abuse or stupidity and you seem far from stupid, so my money is on deliberate abuse which, in the UK would void the warranty and I guess actually does in the US as well.. Had they failed in normal use then no problem.. Welding the Damn things with a MIG? how is that the tools failure..

Add to that the comment you made about "breaking them some more" and you have video evidence of intent to defraud which i think comes under the banner of Thievery?

Not the finest example and given the amount of people that supported you in this? that's scary, its shows a misplaced moral code IMO, seems it is alright because it is Snap-on so that must mean it is ok to do it to a small 'Mom and Pop' hardware store as well then? or do moral values change the larger the organisation?

Maybe apple should start changing iPhones because the users abused them rather than they actually failed?

Maybe I should stay in my lane, Oh wait I am in my lane..

Enjoy your videos, not this one so much , justifying what looks like fraud isn't emjoyable..

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alice Eliot says:

You know he was right. Even in this video, you admitted that you abuse the system. Does not affect me, but just be honest about it. Don't get all defensive when people point out the truth.
And how exactly is the joke on him? You did exactly what the guy accused you of. And the joke is on him?
Well, your system is still unbelievably stupid. Why do you work at your job, with privately owned tools? And where is the line? Do you bring your own lifting platform? The wheel alignment platform?
    Why not?
Or what about the cans of brake cleaner you waste?
How is this decided? And I bet every attempt at an explanation will be laughable.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars greanstreak04 says:

My Snap off truck driver is basically useless, carries the base minimum toolset, has to order anything that needs to be replaced under warranty. I buy mostly from Matco, better dealer, well stocked truck, and less hassle about damaged tools. Side note, the Matco LED flexible magnetic droplight is not worth buying. It's very durable, and the magnets are almost strong enough to hold it in place, but the battery life is bad. It only works for about 4 hours on an overnight charge….

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim Goulden says:

My Snap-On guy would always ask, "Got anything broke, damaged, or torn up?" There were no questions asked about how it got damaged because that is how this premium warranty works. Rainman could have just said hey I welded my plyers and the Snap-On rep would say cool, here's anther pair. That is how it works with premium tools like Snap-On and Mac.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Dawson says:

This is why you pay Snap-on prices.

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars fredy gump says:

This one is funny! The Snap-On guy probably watches Ray's videos! And they probably laughed about it as Ray re-enacted the tragic moment.

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars hairburger62 says:

Snap-on is way too expensive & overrated !!

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars This is what a Man Does says:

Don't listen to the hater, they don't do what you do, so they nit pick everything they know nothing about.

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TakeDeadAim says:

I've known my Snap On guy for 20+ years now. We have a great relationship an he's always come through for warranty replacement of work. He knows I don't purposely find ways to break or lose things…"it" happens…but I also "rub his back" as well! It's called a symbiotic relationship.

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Timo Kallio-Kokko says:

You BUY your tools??, am I too european to understand this, my employer supplies tools to us..

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Zappa says:

you got to hand it to snap-on. You could literally forge your pliers into a steel pancake cookie and get it replaced under warranty.

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Saw Gunner says:

You tell em rainman. ahahhahhah stay in your lane that was great

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Doe says:

Haha, it's the nature of tools to get used and sometimes get spoiled.

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David says:

When I was a Snap on dealer warrenty and repairs were no problem. I did not care for guys off the street trying to get replacements for worn out tools found or purchased at flea markets or pawn shops or even stolen tools that had someones initials engraved on them
