The brake problem sounds like a lack of vacuum. He probably used the brakes while turning into Micky Ds', depleting the vacuum and it didn't replenish the vacuum in time for the next E – stop. Check for crushed or sharply bent vacuum lines. Is it a Dorman booster unit?

Hi Eric, loving the videos. I found them while searching for info about my 2007 Trailblazer. The check engine light had been going on intermittently for a few months, usually reading P0421 catalytic converter warm up cycle inefficiency, and more recently the idle speed had started going wonky on startup. I found your video on cleaning the throttle body to improve idle, and figuring that it was routine maintenance and couldn't hurt anything, gave it a try. One week and 300 miles later no check engine light, the idle speed is back to normal, and it just seems to accelerate and run much more smoothly than it had been. My guess is that the P0421 code was a result of running way too rich on startup because of the filthy throttle body. Thanks for your help, and keep on with the videos, I'm learning a lot.

All batteries are made in Mexico, except Interstate and Exide. So everything on the parts store shelves, OE Delcos, Motorcraft, most Mopars, are all outsourced there. That being said, I just purchased a Mopar battery for my 09 Challenger, because it was more cost effective than an Interstate, and that 1 was made in Germany.. so there's that..
Regarding oxygen sensor replacement intervals, Toyota offered to replace the sensor at 100k miles on my 1995 pickup. This was apparently their policy at the time. Volkswagen recommended replacing them on water cooled cars 1980s.
So maybe there are similar policies or guidelines on newer cars?
