I don't know if you have a look back at these old videos (6 mos.) but after seeing Hannah doing her job in several older videos, I think we're all sad to see her go. Her ability to pay attention to direction and keep her mind on the job at hand is outstanding in a young person. But that being said, I think it's great that she will be there, when someone is too old to have a car, and needs her help in the medical field. I can only hope that at least most of her fellow students feel the same. Somehow I doubt it though. Seems like most are just looking for a rich Doctor to get hooked up with. Nothing wrong with that, Hannah! Just make sure that his work ethic and other standards are on par with yours. Best of luck to you in all you do.
Eric, I thought you said it was a Hyundai during the making of that Massive air flow job. During this WUW you said KIA. Also the problem with that candle if you use it will be, Mrs O will walk into the room and say 'did you just fart?'
If you are so busy that you are getting overwhelmed the only options I can think of is expand and get more workers or it might be time to raise the shop prices.

i agree on safety inspections..i am in massachusetts and the whole process is on camera now..they do let anything slide anymore… if you want to buy a used car in new england a vehicle that passed mass inspection you know is at least safe…the whole emissions thing is different story.. i think alot of that is just ridiculous.

You know Eric(K), I know what you are getting at when talking about having someone work with you. Are you going to be able to watch over everything they do? No..I myself have ran into a problem since I started watching your videos, and that is I am real skeptic about having someone working on my car because I don't know if they are going to do the same job I would. Even highly experienced mechanics take short cuts. For example. After your video on brakes replacement and replacing the hardware, I had someone say they would do my brakes for me, but they didn't even mention that they were going to replace my hardware and when asking him about it, he just said all you need to do is clean them. You see, that's not good enough, and also being my car is over 18 trs old I noticed my rotors had little grooves in them and want them replaced along with my hoses since I will have it all apart… He just said all the brakes might do is wear a little quicker and not to spend the money on new rotors cause they aren't that bad and that the little cracks in the hoses were no big deal they're not leaking… It's my car, and that isn't good enough. So what I am doing is taking it to a different buddy's place and the both of us are going to do the job the way I want it done. The Eric O's way, the right way… It's almost like I know the job I will do, and if I make a mistake I will fix it right way, but if I'm not there watching every step I just don't know what short cuts are going to be made if someone else does them…. I know it's a little anal or paranoid, but that's just how I feel. So thanks Eric for doing thing all the way, and the right way…
Emission should be Nationwide every state every city every County. It's stupid that you can pollute in the midwest no emissions in the big cities have to have emissions, the air would be that much better if we did it nationwide!
Eric you are right state inspection is in your name your reputation is on it. we all play by rules. people that drive junk will go elsewhere because they don't want to play by the rules
We have no inspections or emissions and our air is super clean, we gave up on inspections due to the corruption inherent to this type of service, new cars all have what it takes to keep the air clear..Its just a Money Grab, nothing more.
I've used plain water in a spray bottle to get rid carbon knock! god forbid you put on an inspection sticker & they get in an accident & your slapped on a sticker
Do you have a video sir showing a inspection plate removal and tightening with locktight the flexplate bolts? Easily on a 2003 Chrysler town and country with the 3.8 v6 in it? I didn't see one of there is one?

It is easier to apologise than get permission? So go buy your Ice Cream Machine then apologise to your misses? I have no idea what sort you meant but just go and buy a split Fridge/Freezer to keep your Milk and Beers in the garage? Grow a set?
