All right, we're back at it again. 2004 Chevrolet Silvero 2500HD That's the 66 lb7 Duramax This is the one that has the fuel injectors that are buried under a two-piece valve cover system. Right here. We've got a a lower cover right there.
Then there's the upper cover. We already have the passenger side reassembled. For the most part, we're working on the driver's side today. Again, the valve cover is in place.
We need to get the fuel lines installed, get all these electrical components connected, and hopefully we can hit the key and get this bad unit running again and back out on the road. Check the link down in the leand corner of this video for a couple of the fulllength features on this particular truck. Uh, those videos consist of the tear down section and, uh, we're coming out with the reassembly videos in the near future. Stay tuned.
Thanks for watching.
Nooooo not another Short ;-(
I feel like 14+ hours of parts/labor will start pushing the point of value of the truck itself.
I got a 2003 Silverado 5.3 z71 also did you get your truck fixed from when I ran into you at 711?
Hey Ray how do you feel about fans coming by the shop?? I'm in sarasota for work till next week just curious I'd like to just meet you, been here since the dealership days
Planned obsolescence at its finest !
Keep making these shorts as well, which help those searching for repair videos for their vehicle
Was wondering when this was going to be finished 😂
That truck is surely taking a long time to be repaired. Parts still not available or something else in need of attention?
Love what ya do Ray … been watching you since you left that crazy dealership and just wanna say I enjoy your videos dude 👍
You sure do work on a lot of Chevrolet's..scary to have one..
So it's finally going back together!
I am confident you'll remember where all the bits go, Ray (that's the kind of job where I would get lost during the reassembly
