Honestly thought that you switched editors, and they were not as skilled as the previous editors. I didn't feel the need to complain after watching the original video, but since you are addressing it directly thank you for the explanation.

It is just easier to get it from underneath

My guess is that the editing computer may need a little maintenance of its own; archive old files, delete the junk, maybe a defrag, stuff like that.
