In a previous video https://youtu.be/5UpsGup-kI4 I showed you the process I use diagnosing a bad fuel injector on this 3.8 liter Jeep Wrangler. I got the green light on the job and wanted to show a small part of that process. The confirmation. -Enjoy!

Some of your best videos that are the BEST are your follow up ones that you do .
Eric Ohh Yeah! you the man
Thanks I have the same thing on a express van and as much fun as it is to get to the injectors to change one I am going to change all of them with GM injectors, if one went bad another may not be far behind.
WOW! Thanks for the closure mister anal! LOL
I usually swap the injector and if it throws the code on a different cylinder bam solved the problem
Thanks, you just helped me like an old dog learning a new trick…lol
I like your Videos and learn a lot from them. Hope You are feeling better
Hi,SMAR. Good job. Thanks for sharing! Stay Healthy!
Come on man get your shit together and be happy.
Thanks Eric for taking the time to make all of these videos, I appreciate it.
great job EO very good diagnosis
Literally the exact same thing happened on my moms jeep. Wonder if itโs a common problem.
Good video. I got lost in the electrical diag part but I'm new to this
Just wanted to drop by for my first comment. Have always been a gear head that has shied away from the big bad electrical work.
Rewind to three months ago, I work for an auto manufacturer and recently transferred departments from production to repairs. Your videos 100% gave me the confidence to jump right in the deep end. Iโm currently a specialist in electrical repair now and loving it!
Heating a component in electronics generally increases its resistance.. So, your 14 ohms will go up to 16-20 ohms potentially… That cuts the current by 30% – 40%…
Good man.
Would it not be โminus the leads ohmsโ.
Thanks!
Have some homemade chicken soup you'll feel better nice video though
Hey, my hubby and I have been watching your channel for over a year. He's been subscriped for a long time. Question Panther Pee…what's in it and the ratio? Thanks. We've learned a lot. Getting ready to try to restore a 89 Dodge Ram d100.
Eric O. I love your channel and truly enjoy all of it's content. I watch your videos for all of the knowledge you share with the rest of your South Maniacs Auto Family out here, and of course for the entertainment factor that you and Mrs. O. Bring to the videos as well.
I truly appreciate you guys and all of your videos my friend.
I hope you feel better soon. I know I feel better watching your videos because they are very informative as well as entertaining. I have learned alot from watching your diagnostic methods and I want to say Thanks! Keep them coming. Have the Mrs make you some soup or other dish to make you feel better.
Immediately, there's the problem: ChryCo. 3.8L minivan v6 and NOT the 4.0L AMC inline six ;]
Cool multi-meter use as a lot of DIY / shade-tree mechanics don't use one…this video is very informational & thanx for having this here!
Have a nice glass of rum. That'll fix you up.
1 of 5 or so channels I keep coming back to. Thanks for finding the time to make us all a little less ignorant.
thanks
Thanks for the follow-up on an interesting diagnosis. Hope you are feeling better!
โOโm it out …
Good repair and diag Eric O nothing wrong with checking what ya checked to make sure @SouthMainAutoRepair
Interesting follow up video Eric O @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC
Nice update Eric O @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC
Everything is currently good ๐
Glad you were able to overcome your internal resistance and make this closure type video.๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Great job as always love your videos
Eric, you need a stint in California as a technician as a break. Cars without rust. Cars with easy lives. We'll get you a spa day as well.
Can you please recommend a mechanical or mechanic shop in Cleveland Ohio or somewhere close who's as good as you are
Great videos…thank for 2nd conclusion video
Closure is always important. A finished task is fulfilling to body, mind and soul
Eric, the thin LED light on the bottom of the hood by the washer hose….Who makes that one ? Part number ? Thanks and love your work ethic.
Impressive
He is the real deal in a top level mechanic…. he uses the monitors and clues collected by electronics really well (beyond what most fellows can follow). Keep this guy making videos to help ordinary fellows realize a car is a machine and not magic at all.
Great job and video like always
Excellent set of videos. I'm always learning. Thanks.
Thanks!
As a fellow mechanic of 45 years, I must say that I appreciate your honesty, openness, and thoroughness, as well as your intelligent approach to each problem you encounter. Thank you for the extra effort you have put into your work to produce these videos. That in itself is a very time consuming job, let alone diagnosing and repairing these vehicles.
Thanks for the follow up once again learned something new, wish I could afford to take my car to a shop as good as yours if I had to, most of the time fixing it myself LOL or attempting to. My nephew works on cars He got one from a shop, the owner drove it in with a misfire, they toke the valve cover off said the motor needed to be replaced charged them 500 for the work they did and then offered them scrap price for the car which was ridicule's the car is in great shape. Also the car had to be towed to my nephews they broke the cover when they ripped it off. There was no point in figuring out what they were trying to do when they toke the cover off dropped bits and piece's in the cylinder and most have rolled it over walls are damaged now to a point of no return. Owner is getting another motor from a junk yard. ounce again thank for doing these video's. I enjoy everyone
P.S My dad was a heavy diesel mechanic- LOL I am not- can work on cars but hate doing it, but I do what I got to do.
Yes lad.. keep her lit to the tit, I am a new viewer and find your videos top notch ๐๐ I'm just starting out and find your videos are really helping me, hope your feeling better, looking forward to more videos
