In this video I have a look at a 2013 Chevy 3500 Duramax. The customer complaint is that it keeps blowing the cooling fan fuse. Pretty easy right!? Well in this case it was. -Enjoy!

Another great trouble shooting and repair . And remember , just because you can do it doesn't mean that I can do it …… Thanx .
I'm having an issue on my LML 3500HD. Got a 400 miles to 65mph max with full DEF tank. Peeking around the stable and found a major wire harness from the ECU laying on the EGR housing. Not the greatest at wire issues but hopefully mines will be this simple also fingers crossed!
Good job as always Eric….
One sign of a lazy mechanic
Customer: the fuse keeps blowing
Lazy mechanic: nothings wrong. Just keep replacing the fuse. It’s normal
How you can improve rising edge of clutch coil current to rise more sharply to give more realistic duty cycle?
Experience wins again! Amazing
A good visual inspection can reveal a multitude of "sins."
Be proud of the reputation you have. Hard to find. Most are like I hooked up the computer nothing wrong we are done.
A great video on the Muralax diesel
Brilliant !!!!
You deserve a BEER 🍻!
Great diagnosis wow 👏👌
Damn I wish you lived in Michigan
"Eric, you're grounded!"
Hard to get a honest opinion. Hench i shall ask you. I am having a issue with my pajero i0 2002 it will not go into low 4wd. I am after getting a cheap /good diagnostic scanner but have been told many different things. Is it a mutt2 scanner i need. Regards Andy Australia.
I guess you could say that Eric is not a big fan of diesel engines.
Displaying the great diagnosing skills as usual!
nothing is wrong with this video! Good Job!
Great job man
Lol well they weren't squirrel enough bro that's why the dealership couldnt find it but you have the bloodhound to seek it out and squirrel enough to find that nut and mechanic enough to take it on
Wow thats like a 5 hour drive one way
Drs. And lawyers pay 125%surcharge.
The other shop probably wanted to throw parts at it instead of diagnose it. Way to go Eric.
These are by far the best car videos out there. This guy is so down to earth. He really shows you what it takes to repair something. Not a parts changer. Funny guy too
Framing you F…..
lol…great vid E. Keep em coming.
Great stuff Mr owe . No matter how short or long your video is I enjoyed every minute. More Tec more I love it. Keep trucking my good feller
A laser pointer would be helpful to see what you’re trying to point out.
Sma you guys rock
The “Magic Hands” working their magic again. I’d like to know the backstory why there’s some thumbs down. Ps. This comment is mostly for the algorithm.
well done
If I can watch you I can do it
This sounds like the kind of problem there would be a TSB for
Awesome seek and repair video I didnt see anytime wrong with the video or the repair
One man's anatomy text book is another man's wiring diagram. You might be surprised to learn how close your approach to diagnosis is to a good medical practitioner. History, physical exam, appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnosis, treatment. Your focus on how to approach problems is very helpful.
Really enjoying your videos Mr O. 😎👍
you said whats wrong with this video, perhaps cheap cameras on Amazon? maybe a sony HD camera. I think the focus issues would go away, if not greatly improved?
Another winning performance!
On your Pico is that pulse width modulation?
Great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your the best
your camera is voice activated just like AvEs?
How much you charge for that?
Nice job! I do a ton of electrical diag and repair and must say yes every once in a while you find it quick like that. But not always. Keep up the good work.
Normally diagnosis seems to be the big challenge and then the fix is relatively quick. Seems it goes the other way around some times. Great video! Thanks for helping us learn to use our deductive reasoning and not to just shotgun parts at it.
I know I thought about driving out from WA state to have you diagnose a car. lol
Did you use the liquid electrical tape on the bare wire spots in this repair just curious i started using that from seeing you use it in your videos.
You make all the sense in the world with your approach. Great find. Those kinds of troubles you will never find unless you do it your way. Word is getting out how good you are. Let Mrs O run a bed and breakfast joint for all the out of towner's coming in to get their cars fixed right by you.
Seriously I'm just going to hop in my car today and drive 1,178 miles to Eric O's shop in New York so my rusting 04 Tahoe can be on his channel. Some peeps I tell ya…. Lol…. @Eric you're a friggen man to be worshipped !! I'm going to be just like you in my next life…. Lol… Keep em coming…. 👍🤙👍🤙👍🤙🤙🤙🤙
hello Mr O, I have been watching your videos for some time now and find them informative and entertaining. I have a question for you. I have a 2013 corolla and I am thinking of draining the Antifreeze. I have a new bottle of the stuff but it has been sitting around for 3 years, something like that, and was wondering if it is still good to use. I am not going to flush the whole system and was also wondering if just draining the radiator is ok or should I drain the engine block as well? thank you for you input.
Great video checked what could be wrong then started to look for an intermittent situations which includes wire movement. Good job!
is this guy too late for a Krown treatment
what …. ha ha ' even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while " ….. very good
