In this video I use the power of visual inspection to diagnose a 2016 Buick Enclave. I was pretty easy to "see" where the problem was with the ABS and blind spot detection system. -Enjoy!

What is the replacement part number for this, I need to get one on order.
Still have a problem with one im working on.. stabl and abs light go off
Then drive it and on again
looks pretty striaght forward. My stealership wants $862 to fix mine on my 2014 Verano. Outrage
ON-clave – 🙂 That's officially from Buick BTW
Enclave comes from French enclaver, meaning "to enclose," which itself is based on the Latin noun clavis, meaning "key."
can you disable the blind side option on a 2016 Buick Enclave? light is on all the time.
You just made my argument about electric and “autonomous” vehicles in the salt belt. 🤷🏾♂️ How’s that going to work out??
Ever seen this cause an intermittent no start??
Does the traction keep the car from rising over 30 to 40 mph and having trouble speeding up
Awesome diag eric
That's so much I been having problems with my transaction light coming on I have a Buick unclave 2008
Thanks that gives me an idea what to look for. Awesome, I enjoy watching and learning on how to fix my own vehicle.
Very informative thank you!
Great job
What kind of mechanic are you when I ask no one knows how to do this job and have the stabilizer traction light on my Buick I live in Clayton County ga
Exactly,my issue driving on 94 frwy in Detroit hometown & hit a bump not a pothole. Now,my stabilitrak traction control is off.
Just wondering if you replace the abs module on a 2009 buick lacrosse. Do they need to be reprogrammed? Live in Rochester not to far from you. Love your videos. Always good shit you show. Some people dont get the shit that we go through living in NY.
no cap but recognized the voice almost had me fooled Eric
Excellent Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried – Trentvorty Safe Vehicle Theorem (google it)? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to repair your car the simple way minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my work colleague at last got great success with it.
This is the exact video I needed to see where that Service Side Detection module is located… Thx!
He said It's Swole! Going to the Gym! Stop being a WussBag and Turn the Camera off we get Nasty! 🤣🤣 Why have I not found these Videos til now! 🤣
All it takes is just to pause the camera and cuss at it the way you really wanted to. Works every time 😂
Where's part 2
That was incredibly helpful; I’m fairly certain I’m going to have to bring mine in to my local mechanic as my side detection needs service light is on I don’t have the software to reset, thanks for saving me the time in diagnosing this.
You should get us a laser pointer!
Couldn't it be sealed with silicone to prevent this from happening again? BTW hello from Arkansas.
Those warning lights are the least of that vehicle's problems. The fun really starts when the timing codes start showing up, which for that engine, is inevitable.
put the hat back on!!!
what kind of code reader do you use?
Thanks for the vid and info , just need to order the module
Awesome hair man. Nice style.
Always enjoy your videos, you would be one helluva auto mechanic teacher.
Do you ever get any 08-12 Chevrolet Avalanches?
(sadly unloads Parts Cannon)
I get that great GM feeling by not owning one………
I’d like to make an appointment. Do you have a website? Will someone answer if I call?
Eric I need your phone number to schedule an appointment. I mistakenly reached someone in Virginia yesterday.
As always, some great visual diagnostic tips. Thanks again
would a good coat of fluid film help those last a little longer ???
how did you get access to gds 2
Who's cutting your hair looks pretty good
I settled down to enjoy viewing some hi-tech electrical diagnosis, wiring, scopes, waveform analysis and the like.
Must take notes for the exam later.
Conclusions – it's rusty and it's broke.
Billy Idol!
Just went though this with my 2014 Acadia. Why don't you let your customers know that these are under a full recall and the whole sensor and wiring system is replaced free? Plus there's a new covering for the sensors so it doesn't happen again.
Outstanding Eric!
Keep up the great work !
24 years in the field and I have to say … you are the best!
Keep up the great work ..ooh by the way bout time your wearing the proper PPE”s /latex gloves
Hey Eric, you look different. Did you trim your eyebrows or something?
Keep giving em the beans!!!
I LOVE the way Eric says, "with the big three-six." I remember the 7.5 liter Oldsmobile Rocket V8 engine. That engine was more that two times as big as this engine. In those days the 3.6 liter engine was the SMALL engine for weaklings who were afraid of power. check the Wikipedia article "Oldsmobile V8 engine".
Interesting how the rust and crust causes a whole new batch of problems. We almost never see those side detection modules fail here on the PNW and rarely do we see tone/magnet wheels break.
You look better without the ragged cap. I also wear a cap when working to cushion the bumps and help my glasses keep crud off my face, but they are so cheap ($2) that I replace them when they start looking worn.
ups, did you have an accident with the bleach bottle?
