It's time to flush this toilet! In this video I finish up the work on the SantaFe and take it for a little toot around town. -Enjoy!

Great channel! A friend watches it all the time, told me to give it a look. Great info, well done! Nice to someone dealing with our wonderful friends rust and corrosion. The new beet juice brine deicing formula is now making it worse!
i use to have a 2007 santa fe, in canada the only way to get the backing plate is a dealer item only and comes with the park brakes $500 a side
Why don't you get a brake adjusting tool so you can finally be a real technician
Thanks for posting.
2k for that job
this vehicle looks easier to service than most…….i wish they sold new cars that were rated by how easy they are to service rather than how big their GPS viewing screens are
I like to pop a hole in those filters, a little less messy.
(It's creepy when you whisper….as you'd expect)
I used it online church service as well
ZOOM is the app sir peace be with you 👴🏻🧓🏻
You are never alone with a faith God is always listening 👂🏻
I learn so much from watching an honest company. thank you.
Awesome!! I’m curious how much was the whole repair? My guess is 1,500 bucks.
I know you threw on some new wiper blades just bcuz you're nice.
Careful with the 100% o2 dude too much of a concentration in your blood can be fatal but you should be fine if you ain't a tool 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have watched each video S.M.A makes more the 3 times and I still learn stuff each time I watch. I may get in a dream world from time to time as I remember those mistakes I made on some of my d.y.I work at home. Thanks again for a great video.
I had a '71 Plymouth Fury wagon. Guy I bought it from had put Keystone rims and air shocks on it. It was a mean beastie. Had the bumper that wrapped AROUND the front fender and the flip-down headlight covers were metal! You couldn't design a better car to kill garbage cans with. Metal, plastic, full, empty. Lights out! Boom! Lights on! Flee!
How come people arn't lined up to get fluid film baths? Do you offer that service?
Love the history. Great story.
Thanks for the tour of Avoca, good wrenching too.
Truely well said
I'd believe it
Great plug for the coupon at SMA
I frigg'n wish my corolla's rods had a flat on the back. The angle grinder ate well that day.
What's the oldest model santa fe that you have ever wored on
Did they ever change oil or put anything new on this poor old Hyundai? Pretty pathetic isn't it? That woman will feel like a new car under her now.
For nonsensical reason aircraft calipers have the bleed on the bottom so you have to pressure bleed them from the bottom up. Never understood why.
Well seeing as the air filter is so filthy and groce perhaps a cabin filter would possably be a novel ideal
Growing up in Minnesota I remember getting snow in early May. I didn't mind cuz I love snow. Now living in Missouri we don't get enough to satisfy me.
that air filter is the dirtiest one I ever even heard of… that is car neglect at the extreme
Hankook dynapro atm tires for my trailblazer
Great vid man .but I wanted too see you go back for that garbage can ..;)
I'm about to do the same rear parking brake work on my own 2011 Santa Fe, as well as pop out the rear half-shalfs and replace both differential axle seals. I searched Youtube a while back when I ordered the parts (OEM complete backing plate and brake assemblies, all pre-assembled) and this was the first video that popped up. It was this video that made me subscribe to SMAs channel, mostly because Eric O and I are similar in age, and we have similarities in our work habits and sense of humor. Even though I'm a carpenter by trade, MVR mechanical work has always been a passion of mine and was actually the first trade course I took after graduating high school. Unfortunately, I don't have quite the shop setup or vast array of tools, but I make do with what I have. Keep up the great videos and content SMA!
Are you sure you have a enough wore out tires piled up? LOL😇
👋Привет, очень качественно обслуживаешь тормозную систему. Молодец
My friend you need yourself an inductive heater for those ugly nuts and bolts
aka, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', especially true with plumbing fixtures.
That's a fast lift .
Now they call them parking brakes ….
Nice touch with little tour and history narration. Thanks, Eric, for the hugely informative videos, keep safe during this "interesting" time we are going through, greetings from a ridiculously locked down South Africa. Edit: In fact, lets say God's richest blessings to you, Vanessa and the little ones!
With is that you call fluid film or something like that.
Min 10.
hey Erick, i putting new rod bearings in my 2010 Buick Enclave 3.6. can you tell me what the foot lb. torque is for the caps. i thank you in advance.
Job well done👌
Nice job doc. Thanks for the tire recommendation.
I think will start a new business. Im going to meet Chinese and Japanese tourists at the airport and bring them to Avoca by the busload to see and photograph a real, honest, automobile technician in his native habitat. "Look! theres the female and her babies!" I will then get Richard Attenborough to narrate. I'm gonna be rich!
Anyone else find themselves answering Eric's questions out loud…then realize you're the only one who can hear your answer?
Eric: "Probably can't see much, can ya?"
Me (out loud in my office): I can see perfectly fine."
Employee next to my office: "You OK, buddy?"
love it went more of it
I was about to say that sound gutless but you beat me to it.
I want a pre-worn-out canvas Jeep cap like Eric's. Any chance of putting some in your group of fine murch?
