Gotta say I would go for a hoodie with your little sayings. Please check your place of recording for bright lights behind you. The light bouncing behind you actually gave me a headache. Thanks
Watched one of your older videos of u ranting about Dorman only thing I had worse experience with was Cardone or any engines or trans they sell at advance for a nickel. I started only giving Jasper dealer or used if I could find one on a car that was newer and decent and at junkyard I trust never had luck with crap they would get from another yard.
I've always been curious about the fine line between sponsorship and hanging the signs for specific parts and stores in a shop technically the viewers see it and they become free advertising
SMA- Anyone? I have a 2004 Sierra WT ya manual everything including trans with a 4.3. Have a driving 2000 suburban LT with a 5.3 auto doner car. want to swap into the 2004 GMC the 5.3. Will the ecm and engine control harness plug into the 2004 without having a harness made or adapters?
Just a comment on the EU cars, over here in England, they are the majority, The VW group are deemed to be the best of the bunch, we do have jeeps but you cant get the parts very easily, and when you can they cost the earth. Vauxhall teamed up with chevy for a while but suspension bushes just fell apart constantly so we dont see many now. Kia lots of them and of couse Honda Toyota but not the same models.
Eric-O, I’m a new viewer and first time commenter. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple weeks now and got to say your a hell of a mechanic and a fine American. Keep up the good work and lord willing we can all come back and do it again tomorrow!!!
I am a retired mfg. engineer and have used a tool with a conical cone configuration that contacts the radius on end of the shell so as to prevent deformation of
the shell if a tool with a flat end is used. If this tool is not used, bearing life can be severely compromised. I have all the info. if you would like it.
Where I live (Windsor) the Library has an on line Auto Repair Link and under each model there is a electrical drawing Link as well as mechanical repair.
When I lived up north in Kansas one of these salty States Norman was hardly recommended who usually Moog but now that I moved to the South that's all anyone uses
What brand is big nasty? Part number and size but also be helpful please I have a CH that I bought at a pawn shop years ago and it finally bit the dust I guess I used it too much removing upper and lower control arm bushings and some light sheet metal work
Eric, are mechanics in NY State considered "essential personnel" during statewide lockdown? I'm in Washington state as a dealership technician. Residents here aren't under a stay at home order yet, but it is expected any day now. It is looking like my dealer will remain open.
how have you never heard of fluff..omg.. used to come in a glass jar now it comes in a plastic container.. and it's still freaking delicious with peanut butter.
What!!! what do I see? Hey peeps some of you need to correct the buttons above. The like button is the one on the left. I can see where the mistake can happen… I mean the thumbs up and down are so close to each other. I mean, I have made the mistake too once or twice. click quick in excitement and voila! The mistake is set in history. However, Its easy to correct and all you need to do is press the thumbs you button and presto the thumb down changes mysteriously to the proper thumbs up! Yea, so ask your pal if you are having a hard time and he'll help ya.
I enjoy your channel so much. Your such a stand up guy with a beautiful family. I'm a tech in industry. I know I mist my calling because I love working on cars. I've learned so much from you. Very grateful. I wish you and your family a great and healthy year
I adjusted the valves on my ‘06 Odyssey when I replaced the timing belt at 200k. It took a long time and was tedious, but quieted down the valve train and gave me peace of mind.
Hi Eric, I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 3500 6.0. This morning after driving a short distance I noticed a white milky substance on the driveway. I checked dip stick, trans fluid and coolant all seems ok. Is this likely a blown head gasket. It only has 104,000 on it and it I always maintain it well. I am in Ontario Canada. I have booked it into my local garage for Monday.

Phone video quality and audio is excellent, you just need to find a way to lock the exposure on the camera.
