I haven't even checked the box or anything, actually had no clue how they worked before I found this video.

My horn sounds when I bump the wheel while parked and when I turn the wheel it sounds and won’t stop. How can I work on it without having it blow the whole time? Will disconnect the battery disable the horn?
I just need to disable the horn lol. Replaced the toggle switch on the left siide of the steering column and now my horn beeps when i turn the wheel. Im not taking it apart again to fix it so im just gonna disable the horn. No need for it anyhow lol

Last one I fixed I put a dab of solder on the spot you cleaned to give mine a better connection. Oh and I put it back together not sitting in the seat just in case it blowed.
My 1997 GMC S-15 horns stopped working, but the right side would sometimes work and only on high tone. When it didn't work I would here the relay in the glove box click, but now, nothing. I'm going to do the tests under the airbag and clean the button. If that doesn't work, then I'll continue with my diagnosing. Where can I get the jumper for the relay? I'll check in the description for this video to see if there's a link.

2002 S10, no horn, hazard lights solid (will work if pushed on) blinkers blink fast both sides. Relay and fuse good. Just happened on the way home. Clock relay?
Just watched your video and my problem was EXACTLY the same as yours. Emory cloth on the contact worked like a charm. (Did have to watch another clip to see how to get the air bag off) But THANK YOU..
If my horn doesn't work I use my finger.
I added an air horn and under dash toggle switch to my 69 Galaxy. Sometimes you just have to Wake People up.

I'm curious what you charged for this repair. I had to do literally the same exact thing. I followed the same process you did, and it was the same result as far as the malfunction. I charged my neighbor 50 bucks. But, I'm not a certified mechanic so I would assume you charged more. Just curious on the amount to see if it was a fair deal on my end as well as my neighbor.

This video is frustrating. You give no instruction on what to look for to get the horn cover off. Also a camera view to show what you're doing would have helped. I've been at this far too long tryna figure it out. 😡😡

I have a 1997 Chevy s10 and my horn is randomly going off, seems to be related with something when turning the steering wheel when it happens usually pressing the horn once shuts it off or turning the wheel . Any clue what would cause this
