Old Memaw trick. Eric rub Vicks all over your feet in between your toes and soles put some white socks on and wear them to bed. This will help you to sleep better with a bad head cold. PS it will make your feet softer too. This really helps with those stupid non producing coughs. I worked in a tobacco factory that was very dusty and with allergys I used so much sudafed that it made my sinuses worse. Try a HALLS MENTHO-LYPTUS cough drop with your 3m mask it will make your sinuses happy.
Hi Eric, the sinus thing gets you every winter. Missed the livestream again but see you at TST this weekend ✈️✈️✈️ I've been I'll all week, phone on do not disturb but slowly recovering. If folks want known goods and test help on euro stuff they are welcome to join our Facebook community at Simply Diag YT, it's the gateway to all things European and our closed trade only subscription group Simply Diag Network.
Sorry Eric but I have to bash on IATN just a bit. I was on their site from their humble beginnings. Even though I worked with the DOE, and contributed to many fixes for E85 drivability problems, they decided to boot me for asking 'too many q's without contributing enough answers to their user complaints.' Sorry.. We were diagnosing E85, CNG, combinations of the 2, as well as emission failures ( monitors not run) in flex fuel fleet applications before the general public even had their hands on 1. Several people from the DOE and Il. EPA defended me and my general questions on other topics but still IATN gave me the boot. To their credit, it is a good resource BUT, you had better have something that they deem 'worthy of contributing' or sharing, or expect the boot.
Try "Walfed" in the green box. It's only available with the pharmacy inside WalGreens. No Rx required but they will ask for your ID. Works for many of us with the runny nose etc. Worth trying. The # 6640 kit & # 6646 SK Tool seems rather expensive however, they are USA made and no one else has one like it. Just the indexing tool is $66 but I'd think even for a shadetree mechanic it's worth the money in exchange for the cost of damaging a door trim panel. Most of them crack/break if they are not properly supported with the right lifting device, especially on older vehicles where the plastic and door panel materials are brittle from age and/or cold weather. And, if patching up a broken door trim is planned, be sure to plan on rattles and the temp fix not lasting much since door panels are subject to much wear from the door opening and closing so often. Having a good supply of or simply ordering those plastic parts when planing to remove a trim panel are likely a good habit to get into since the chances of them breaking are likely, it's just best to replace them all once removed so they are fresh for next time.
Sorry I missed this, I was notified this morning for some reason. Hope you feel better. These new cars that Ford is putting out is scary with the problems you are reporting on. As usual, lots of useful tips so thank you again for your time.
Ford, in the meantime are looking to shed 25,000 employees and save 20Bn Dollars a year…they, like most car manufacturers are 'in the bin'…and to think how much money they were given by the US treasury..'Too Big to Fail'….and who has to pay for the continued incompetence and lack of customer care etc…Their products are not value for money, much like most car manufacturers…
Get better soon Eric, it sure hurts when your bunged up in the head (or anywhere thinking bout it) Towel over head and bowel of steaming water can help clear at least temporary. Ashamed to admit I fell asleep watching wuw so woke up in own slavver and a blank screen anyways 🤣
Hey Eric, sorry to hear your fight'n that sinus stuff, wouldn't even know it if you didn't tell us. I fell your pain. Years ago I had a real bad one for about 3 weeks and could not get rid of it. I knew a buddy that use to have a sprint car and he let me take it for a rip. i had the sinus head ache and all that went with it when i stepped in the car and after driving it for about 5min my head cleared up and felt fine. Not sure why but i will tell ya the pucker factor from driving that car at over 100 miles per hour on a 1/4 mile track sure did the trick it was all gone when i stepped out of the car. Go figure….
Eric i have a 1996 Dodge ram1500 every once and awhile i go to start the truck up and it wont idle if you get it running down the road when it gets warm it will idle no problem ,what's your take on it,i appreciate any in put.thank you Eric.
Eric, strange question. If there’s any better way to contact you for questions/advice on my 04 Grand Cherokee WJ that’d be amazing. I’ve been getting mushy brakes and a stalling issue with the ol 4.0 but no lights flash when she shuts down. I’m pretty far off in the southernmost point of the country and it’s out of my budget to have someone work on her for me. Thanks a ton for the great videos!
Eric, sorry I missed this man, I was sick my damn self, absolutely horrible…crashed after today. You're a machine man! Take care of yourself and get some sleep.
Eric I said it, Ecoboost is horrible!!! VVT is such a headache Phaser cams are going to be the next big money maker for shops. You must change dexos cars with dexos no more than 5k or less than 6 months else kaboom! Wait watch and see.

I think im just a dummy but I have no idea how to comment on the live stream. Maybe I just miss the live stream each time, or is it not on the youtube? Is the livestream on google or someother site?
Sorry I missed the stream, but glad you got the packages ok! Thanks for the anti-freeze trick 🙂 Also, the reason why the message is split up is because Amazon only lets you type so many characters per gift message. Feel better soon!
Make your favorite tea BOILING hot, add a shot of apple brandy, breathe in the fumes (drape towel over head and just breathe in and out) , 10 minutes later sip the tea, go to bed. Will open up your sinuses and make you sleep better.
Soooo something on the internet broke and the stream shut down a tad early! I did do another short stream to thank the folks and say good bye but it was from my phone and the A/V was pretty crappy! Any how, off to get some sleep and kick this sickness to the curb! THANK YOU ALL! -Eric O.

The reason you get so many nasal infections is you breathe in too many chemicals and don’t wear a mask. What happened to your KIA? Thanks

Antibiotics don't work for viral infections.
Just went over and watched Diagnose Dan’s Eric O imitation, that was classic. Nailed it. LOL

it`s all the brakleen thats causing your sinus woes.
Eric, sorry I missed this man, I was sick my damn self, absolutely horrible…crashed after today. You're a machine man! Take care of yourself and get some sleep.
Got a call from the iNlaws in FREMONT, NE. all is ok on their end ,but other folks do need help. Thanks to those for all their help
Try some Flonase. Its a nasal steroid over the counter. It will take 2-3 days to get going but will open up the sinuses. Antibiotics won't do squat.
Diagnose Dan featured an inexpensive scope on a video within the past month, that he recommends.

What I wanted to do was reach through my screen and snatch those cookies!
