In this video we have a look at a 2013 Dodge Avenger that came in with a customer complaint of a "noisy blower motor" and a wet passenger floor. It didn't take long to track down the problem and find a plugged HVAC drain. Also ended up replacing blower motor and resistor due to water damage. -Enjoy!

That was a lot of water 💦😂
Hi, Mr. O. They should ai some of that blower power down the drain pipe. Thanks for sharing! Stay healthy!
Thanks you just made my day. Rock or something got in mine when I changed the filter, must have been sitting on top of it, its noisy as crazy thought I'd have to take apart the dash to take the motor out.
Same problem I think. My connector area looks just like that's wet and rusty. Hoping this will fix it
Hey Eric. Good stuff. We see the ac drain get dirt dobber(wasp) nest in the tube here in SE GA.
Now, for the question. My daughter's 2013 Dodge Dart, the blower motor works intermittently. If it comes on at start up, it doesn't seem to stop. But if not, it MAY come on later. Sometimes after hitting a pothole or the drive door closed a little hard. I'm thinking the motor. Have you diagnosed a FCA vehicle that works the same?
Hey so I’m about to fix my 2010 Dodge Avengers blower motor what size nut driver did it take ?
I've used CLR to clean up the rust on connectors.
Hannah is awesome!
I didn't know that you were fluent in Spanish! LOL
2010 Silverado passenger floor gets a little wet when running ac a lot but is draining outside the drain on firewall also…it’s not coolant in the floor it’s clean water…blew some air inside drain line, still the same
👍👍👍👍👍
Love your videos! We appreciate sharing your experience with us. It's very helpful to us DIYers. I learn something every time I watch your videos. God Bless! From Florence Alabama.
I stumbled across this video after my daughter complained about hearing water flowing in her Dash. She had exactly the same plug plus her cowl drain was blocked. Thanks so much!! You' da man!! man!!!
i had a 97 caravan that water got inside and it was due to a plugged wiper assembly drain for the bottom of the windshield
Not a cricket but at least the cabin air will be fresh.
That bug clogged the drain. Must have been a little beaver.
cut the drain line on an angle
Did notice a wet floor 2x a year after I brought the care new. 2013 Avenger. Could have been more times but I rarely to never sit in the passenger seat. Now 2021 my heat / ac stops working completely. No Air blowing at all. No noise at all. Fuses checked. Lights still work on knobs. I love how simple it looks to change the Blower Motor cause it's hard driving with no heat and I still paying for a check engine light that the dealership can't seem to fix. Well everything but what make the check engine light keep coming on (P0740).
Hi, Eric I have a 2014 dodge avenger with 32,000 miles on it have the same problem on mine as well this my second time this happen on dodge avenger in 2 years in oct 2018 and now in Oct of 2020 , what causes this problem I would appreciate it thank you and have a great night
Things u will see in newyork lots of taxis roaches rats and tons of people
Please master teach me how you managed to train a woman to lesson and actually follow directions while in the shop. 🙌
Do you know what the fix is for dodge avenger blowing hot air on driver side and cold air on passenger side
Watch this video so many times and I'm still surprised at the cricket😳😒😅
I was wondering if all of those repair parts you ordered are the same ones that you would also use on a 2008 Dodge Avenger?
Would love to see you replace a lower steering column bearing on an early 2000's GM pickup. I've done two and struggled both times…… There are other YouTube vids on doing this but they didn't help.
16 downs from bad graphic designers.
La cucaracha, la cucaracha ya no puede caminar 🎵🎼
I get the dampness even with my heater on and not my AC
1st problem: Dodge avenger
Lol, puts diaper for stuff that evaps quickly, no diaper for waterfall carpet soaking…😂😂 Did 3 a them clogged drains last week already here in humid hell texas
Hi Larry Us,,when you yell "whoa"! Fan for Life,JDZ
The wheels aren't moving it has spinners the hubcaps rotate
"Piece of resistance" 😁
Speaking of glove boxes ! Please clean out the glove box before bringing it in I have came across porn, guns, bullets, food and mice an Chipmunks FYI gloveboxes get hot so not the best place for guns and ammo just saying ! What's your most interesting find lol
I bet you've seen quite a few Avengers roll through your shop—those cars were flaming turds lol
Great video. I had a grand vitara with the drain plugged. The ecm on it was full of water making it not start. I found it because the passengers side floor was wet.
Roaches. Here in Texas its normal. In NY that's a different story…
You mean Hannah gets that vampire tan?
Here in Florida the roaches are found everywhere. They live in the woods and fly so inevitably they get in the house.
Man, I'd love to work for you. I was taught by old man who worked for GM, Ford and Oldsmobile back in the day along with building 427 side oiler engines for Nascar. I've got the old school tricks along with the new school electronic tricks haha.
I started to laugh when you told her to get you a diaper.
Here I thought the heater core was leaking. Good thing you blew threw the drain hose first. Your experience has taught you well.
Well theirs your problem lady, roaches lol
Ok…You should have smoked that roach…when I find them in customers cars I burn up! And Eric please start wearing gloves!! All that crap that comes out of a can is gonna kill you even if you dont live in Cali! Leukemia is a terrible way to die!
Don't ever leave food in the car or you'll get roaches. There is NO EATING ALLOWED in my car. If there is no food and water, you won't have bugs.
Had the same plugged drain hose problem a 14 Cubic foot GE fridge luckily without the cockroach.
Why do you always sound out of breath
No! No more talk! We go in! We kill! Kill! We kill ’em! They kill us, we kill them! Kill ’em! Kill ’em! Kill! Kill!
Ok, commenting before I watch. Gonna go with a bad heater core or the drains are plugged up & ac is filling up & flooding blower motor.
That was funny Eric, lol 🎼🎼La Cucaracha, La Cucaracha🎼🎼
