THE LAST PART OF YOUR VIDEO THAT MADE THAT NOISE, I THOUGHT IT WAS MY TINNITUS ACTING UP, LOL. WHEN YOU SIGNED OFF I STILL HEARD THE SOUND BUT LOWER ,LOL SO I WAS HALF RELIEVED.
LOL "common sense certified" good one bro, coming from a guy who has all 8 ASE's, its true they dont mean squat.. Common Sense and Experience really pays off
you should come to Australia, good food and Great weather – In QLD at least but all the way down the Qld and NSW east coast and West coast. Some spectacular sights we even get snow down south in Tasmania and Victoria…
I found your You Tube Chanel. I am a Mechanic also. have been since 1978. I like the way you work Fix it right or take it to the Shade tree down the street. And when they bring it back do you feel like charging more. Just wonted to say your good and like your Videos.
Hey Eric, have you ever had a vehicle fall from the lift? A buddy who has a shop here in Canada had it happen on Friday… Lift Arm failure, it sucked…lol. I guess he finds out tomorrow how his insurance wants to handle it…
Wouldn't have figured you for a fear of flying, Eric. I don't mind it at all, in fact it's the only mode of transport I can sleep on. I'm firmly with Mrs. O on this one. I once took an overnight ferry to Greece and it drove me up the wall. The sea wasn't rough but you could feel subtle motion all the time and every sound travels all over ('cuz the thing is all metal). I'd start to doze off and then there'd be a clunk or a creak. Good job I was 17 at the time and a rough night of sleep didn't disable me the next day as it does now. BTW: don't book a hotel in central Athens, ever. Athens drivers pay no mind to whether it's day or night, the honking never stops.
Eric O. "How long do I plan to work? Until I'm dead." I can totally relate. People ask me about retiring, I say, "my retirement will start when they wheel me out on a stretcher, and tell me I can't go back to work." Because I'm pretty sure I won't have enough money to survive either way! When it comes to nose hairs, I just yank 'em out! Do it enough, and the pain isn't that bad anymore!
If you have alot of work you should just raise the prices just go to 85 or 80 and you will see what will happen no problem with getting cars in ? than I think there wont be any problem than
I miss working at the shop in the countryside in north carolina when I was in high school (owner was also my shop teacher at the school). Miss the local food, everyone treated me like family (being a little off-color, that meant a lot to me).
The thing about you Eric is that you were self taught, with your family in mechanics, you didn't stay in the analog world spark plugs, points and condensers, but learned as the cars advanced to a digital world. you are a great trouble shooter and use the tools available to you. "Customer first".
Are you okay with youtube viewers (the people) stoping by to visit? Would love to see you guy's in person but don't want to bother you. you're still the best on the web.
A mechanic I used to work with actually told a customer that he forgot his magic wand at home and couldn't make a prediction. I loved working with him. He wasn't afraid to say what the rest of us wanted to say, but didn't want to piss off the customer.

Thanks for another great video, only found your site a couple of weeks ago and have loved catching up on your videos. One question I have is on your hard drive video your were in your home shop, were those cycling specific tools on the tool board, are you a cyclist in your spare time. Any chance of a home shop video some time, thanks again
The scripture says man has dominated man to his own injury, you r now feeling that. The only permeant solution to all our problems is God’s kingdom Daniel 2 :44 , I’m just trying to help you and your family to have a secure future. Think heavy on what I’m sharing with you!
Thanks for the learning curve… The Hemi Exhaust bolt extraction is what sold me! You make it look sooo easy! Tools don't come alive in my hands. Lol. It took me 6 hrs to remove & replace two bolts… BUT, I got it done myself because of your Video! Thanks. Joe from Lake tomahawk Wis.
