Come along with Eric O. at the SMA shop as we swap out these leaking rear A/C lines on this 2010 Kia Sedona Mini Van. A lot of times in the the shop we repair leaking rear A/C lines but in this case it was a much better plan to go with the OEM because it actually had two leaks. --Enjoy!

Good job
Rear A/C unit videos are always good videos for any A/C tech. Thank you SMA
Speaking of AC facials, that Kia blasted me right in the face when it burped and blasted out a bunch of dye and oil from the low side port minutes after I removed the shrader valve
I have a 2010 Kia Sedona on the hoist right now. The clutch coil burned up. Would've been so easy to replace the coil but I had to replace the compressor, expansion valves, defecant, etc.
Where can these lines be purchased
Another excellent video. I've got the same issue with my 2008 Sedona, here in the UK. The pipes are around £120.
However, a few owners have blocked off the rear heater pipes to avoid having this issue again. The system is powerful enough to circulate hot or cold air around the car without the need for these additional pipes.
How about a video of the front line not back
Where'd you get the part and what was the cost?
What's the low side pressure supposed to be???
online says our 04 Sedona has two expansion valves but I cant find the 2nd one. guessing its under the dash.
we have a 2004 kia sedona. it has a fan switch in the back , is that just a blower or does it have its own separate a/c unit in the rear? thx
So what did she have to tell u, that was so important?
Could you please tell me what the system capacity for sedona 2013
Ya never want to get ya wiggle and ya jiggle outta time gotta keep it together 😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have the same van maybe someday you could do a video on how to change the ocv
i have the same issue with a town and country, cant find the leak worth a damn
Never force it, get a bigger air hammer !
Can you do a video of repairing A/C lines themselves? Just started studying A7 A/C related diagnostics and repairs and would love to see it. also basic A/C repairs as well, but I'm not picky at all.
In the meantime, the guy in the background has taken out at least 600 bolts with his impact
Just did a set of these at work last week. Spare tire wouldn't come down and fitting ends were corroded together. Had to bust out the drill.and cut off tool for both ends of the high side line.. 🙁 I was excited at first for an easy re/re of the lines. Sadly mistaken.
were did you get the cover for the Milwaukee impact?
once again job well done
your going to have to sound proof joshes bay.. he loves that impact gun!!
Remember folks, if I can do it, you should pay me to do it. Thanks for watchin'!!!
Eric you always go the extra mile, the chain lube is something an average mechanic wouldn't do. I really wish your shop was near me. Thanks for all the great teaching. You're the man.
"Had to wiggle, and jiggle… To get the job done"
sounds like josh was having some troubles with something corroded. rear trailing arm pin on a scooby?
Eric, how long do you recommend pulling a vacuum before recharge ? Some say at least 60min., but most AC machines I´ve been watching only pull 15-20 minutes..what do you recommend ? Thanks
"She looks a little crusty under that nut"
This video was cool
Yo Eric O. Thank you for taking time off you super busy schedule to make this video for US. it goes without saying by many sincerely appreciated it. A +
HAHAHA! Nothing like a -15°F facial in the morning – that'll put a little spring in your step! 😀
Eric, you ought to check out Nylog for A/C o-rings – stuff is AWESOME! I inadvertently put it to the test in my 940 – got the wrong accumulator unbeknownst to me. The swaged end of the accumulator was too long, so even though the nut was tight, there was ZERO pressure against the o-ring! The only thing sealing the system was the Nylog!! It ran for 3 days like that! Held over 90 psi on a hot day too! Then I went to make a short trip, and BAM – $60 worth of R12 gonzo. That sucked. But, it should've failed the second I charged it up! That Nylog is impressive stuff – it's like liquid snot. 🙂
Nice touch on lubing the spare tire gear, really shows you care> Thanks Dr O!
do we need a sound effect for the air hammer as well as brake clean ?
HEY JOSH, WE ARE TRYING TO WATCH A VIDEO HERE!!!
KIA sedonta buya 😉
Found it.
nice job
Neat! What light are you using? Astro? Might be the same Junkie uses. Thanks.
hey what milwaukee impact model did you use in the beginning?
No fluid film or brake bomb? Geez.
I quit watching my favorite show just to watch this. Thanks for the entertainment and learning all in one. If I had a teacher like you ID be much better at my job.
Changed the rear ac and heater lines on a 2010 Highlander. Had to drop the rear end to get the bundle of lines through the small hole they give you.
Can you use heat or cold on the aluminum to break it lose? I think it reacts more/quicker than steel.
love watching your channel! You don't have stupid music playing in the background! I don't mind the phone or other noises…. those are money sounds! Keep up the great work!
Rear AC lines ? This means that the car have 2 evaporators? One on the front in the dash and one on the rear of the vehicle?
thanks for the video Eric, glad the owner is committed to the long-term health of his ride, Underside looks pretty good too.
