Great video Eric !
Love the eye and ear pro….
You are a Gentleman and a Scholar! Nice work. Love your videos, always learning something new.
Wow I am a mechanic here in pg co md and have never seen that wonderful tool for the lower control arm any info would be appreciated thank you
If the balljoint is toast. Chances are the control arm will be also. Then you get a new control arm with the balljoint attached.
nice but im a back yard machanic i dont have all that stuff or a shop and i dont have the money to hire you
The ac condenser and atf cooler will not share the same cooler. They may have a similar fluid, but pressures are not the same.
Good old Chrysler ball joints 😬😬
Love ur videos and how u go above and beyond for ur customers
Man the Subaru BJ is 100% worst than this.. I hate doing BJ.
Back in the 90s while being a GM tech, Ball joints ONLY lasted 3 to 400 thousand miles. Chinese pot metal these days
I had a p/s hose that had a small hairline cut ✂️. It only leaked when the wheels were turned to the right.
A little white Lithium Grease, or anti-sieze will make installation a whole lot easier 🤔
As usual, "BIG NASTY"
Love your videos n the care you provide for your customer. Hard to find a mechanic that cares for his customers. I learn so much from your videos n apply the technique u you point out! Keep up the great work! Writing all the way from Alberta Canada.
You know, most shops would have said to the customer "you look to have a tranny fluid leak. Do you want us to look into it?" Not Eric, he hunts down the leak and does the fix because it's the right thing to do. I miss having a good mechanic who cares more about the customer than the money.
Good job, so easy to do, with power tools…., BUT, you did not put that locking clip back??, and you did not torque that ball joint nut??? Actually put it very light in, then pin it??? Just wondering…..;o)
I take a tie rod socket, put the old nut then I zip it in. Thats how i do it.
Dude you're screwed up press it back out some you went too far that clip should be flushed not way up
Put it in the freezer then press it
No safety glasses again damn
Feliz navida
200 ball joints. Good God.
Impressive camera work when you zoom through the mesh and get the camera to focus on the transmission cooler fitting
Once we know it had been wrecked all bets off, can't blame Chrysler
I need an air hammer
dude must have 0 hearing
Genius
Didn't see the c clip, did you put it on?
Chrysler products are built to fail much like many Ford parts are built to fail this is why I've driven GM Automobiles and trucks for the last 40 years interchangeability of parts more affordable replacement parts and interchangeability speak for yourself
Where did you get big nasty from? Need info on big nasty
Another awesome video made. Doing a 07 Sebring and it has the same set up. I can't believe you don't wear safety glasses or a face shield in most of your videos. Years ago i was air chiselling something and a very small piece of metal came off the chisel and struck me in the face. It bleed a lot,but one minute later it felt like someone punched me in the face. I had safety glasses on,but now i use a full face shield whenever i use the air chisel now. Safety first, not last. 🙂
I am known in certain circles as the anti-chrysler
Sir you go above and Beyond Your call of Duty which is Rare Now A Days Dont ever Change Stay Thirsty My Friend 313 Until I D-I-E
I like how in this video the installment of the snap ring was omitted lol….. I would have loved to see how he put that snap ring on with the steering knuckle still on the car…. i had to cut the handles in half of my snap ring pliers with the steering knuckle off the car to install the snap ring. With the cv axle in the way I under stand why he conveniently didn't include that part of the job. Maybe a spritz of kroil we would help lol
I’ve been trying to figure out the true identity of “big nasty” but I have to ask. Make and model please, I need to get me one. Is that the 3/8 or 1/2 Nano that drove that ball joint in 3/4 of the way? You saved customer a transmission. Good job!
Does anyone know if you can buy that red tool of his for the lower control arms?
There's a girl in my hood named big nasty
I love how he talks when working on cars 🤦🏽♀️😂🤦🏽♀️😂😂😂🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Bad ball joints in three years and leaking trans fluid. What junk.
Is that when your hearing something that’s loose I’m hearing something in my 15 200c
You do a nice job!!! Thanks for the videos!!!
Should have thrown those babys in the freezer for an hour…
The wife's 04 grand caravan has 253K on it and the ball joints are fine. Looks quality has really suffered that past few years. But it what year did it change?
Big nasty making miracles once again.
I got a 2012 and I only replaced a wheel speed sensor. I've had it for over a year. Love the car.
good find
"There's your problem lady"! So funny
leaky transmission lines on a Chrysler product?… Some things never change.
Could send me the same press kit to get so I can do my car
