Thanks to you and Rainman Ray i have learnt lots of usefull things. Was really nice to find out how especially the tap set is used, always thought the tool set looks complicated (not really have han an use for it either) ! Too bad an induction heater is too expensive, its a neat tool.

IMHO I think it would be hard to get into real tight places like when you did the exhaust manifold on that Dodge truck.
You should do a video on that when you remove exhaust manifolds on the dodge truck or a ford truck using the tool.

Magnetic induction heater? I didn't know there is such a thing. I wish the auto makers would use all metric or all SAE. I hate it when they mix them. Sometimes no wrench, SAE or metric, will fit some nuts. Either too big or too small.

If the insulation wears off can you use the tool dip stuff to redcoat it?
The only problem I see is that the bolts I have to get to are inaccessible with this tool.
As a bench tool it would be great.

My buddy calls this the “invisible torch” OMG it’s a wonderful tool
I know it's been some time since you put this video up. There has been some other YouTube videos that have come out since then with the Chinese knock off of this tool. One YouTuber as he was videoing what he was doing plugged everything up went up to the exhaust bolt underneath the car turn the tool on and 5 seconds later a puff of smoke came out from the body of the tool.
I had made one of these from eBay parts a few years ago. The only bad thing is that practically have no use for it since it's impossible for me to get it under the hood of the car to use it on one of the bolts. It's basically a bench top tool. It's still comes in handy on certain things. When I'm working on mine or someone else's gun and trying not to break screws I can put the part into the coil heat up and then remove.
A lot of people really don't believe how he can make a difference. I have a good friend of mine who's quite a bit younger than myself and when we were working on the steering of my expedition we could not remove the pitman arm bolt and I told him just let me get the torch and heat it up. He insists that that would not work that he has dealt with stuff like this and just needed to spray some lube on it. 2 days later the bolt was still in place and this time I wasn't asking I went and pulled my torch out and in less than 2 minutes it came out with no problem at all. Now that he's a believer whenever he's working on something around the house he's using the torch all the time lol.
Like always I enjoy watching your videos and I always make sure even if it's an old or new one to hit the like button and of course the first time I hit the subscribe button also. I figured that's the least I can do with someone sharing knowledge.

I've never heard of that kind of a tool, but I'm also not a mechanic. However i do have a 6 volt/ 12 volt battery charger, could that be used to loosen stuck/ rusty bolts ?
I could see that being handy. Though I have a torch set, for a lot of people these days Tig will do precise welding, and cold cut saws and plasma do most of the cutting.
My grandson was scathing that I should be watching a guy removing a rusty bolt for half an hour. I thought the story had a classic plot. . The promise of the hero's early success only to be thwarted by the villain at every "turn' . Finally in the heat of the moment the hero prevails.

Another good way is those cheap midsized butane torches. I've gotten quite a few seized lugnuts off on the side of the road and it also works as a wire stripper a soldering torch also will braze small copper pipes and the help heat up lunch if needed
