He broke a line on the condenser putting in a radiator and you broke the radiator replacing the condenser didn’t you? Circle of life 😂

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Lloyd says:

Yes, it keeps coming back. It's an "Infinity" and infinity goes on forever.
Or in this case, an "Infinity" keeps coming back forever. 😉

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sedrick Bosh says:

Nice! Use a drill bit to plug that hose so you can knock another hole in the new radiator.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars gostra28 says:

    Nice

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Squirrel Killa says:

Why not use a vacuum coolant filler?

Would it kill a person to spray a little armorall or maybe even some glass cleaner on the shrouds? You know, show a little love for their vehicles.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daddyoh says:

Buy an Infinity radiator. Then your return will be zero.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brian M. says:

I was just thinking… hmmm did you test that offscreen?

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike says:

Should of used a vacuum bleeder , dude literally overheated a section of that head super hot and will have issues down the road now. Amateur move

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Underground Lair of the Squankum says:

Would a chemical test for combustion gases in the coolant be a good idea on a difficult case like this? The first and second radiators failed.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Morin says:

Started out yellow/orange, then turns green?

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars cole ghareeb says:

What brand electric rathet do you use?

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Malevolent AK says:

I may be wrong, but it looks like the pen you used to block one of the condenser lines used to have a cap at the end. What little was caught on camera, it looks like its missing after you took it out. May still be stuck in the condenser line

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jack Riley says:

Did Snap-On quit making their stoppers on a chain set? I still have most of mine forty-five years later.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Bayles says:

No pressure test to verify the leak? The worst version of "drain the cooling system" I have ever witnessed. Your on a lift lift it up and drain it! The use of screw type clamps is very unprofessional, (the manufactures utilize spring clamps because of their ability to maintain clamping force) the lesser quality "screw type" clamps require periodic tightening. Then you reinstalling the lower hose clamp in the F you position is going to prevent that! Not using a cooling system evacuation refill method is also very unprofessional and inefficient! The probable truth is, that the upper hose was just leaking down the radiator due to the aforementioned low quality hose clamp not maintaining tension!

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Luke Meisenbach says:

Engine covers are silly. Spring hose clamps for plastic coolant stuff while required are still devices of the devil.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ray Ives says:

Golf tees work great to plug smaller lines, up to about 5/16 ID.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Laakkonen says:

Did Lexus ship that vehicle with worm gear clamps on the hoses? Seems like those should be spring clamps to maintain constant pressure.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars P H says:

Rainman, Rainman, Rainman. You aren’t a real mechanic if you don’t start a cooling system diagnostics with a pressure test. You’re just a hack otherwise.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Richard Gordon says:

She Spit at ya Ray 😵

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alouis Schäfer says:

The guys at Infinity sure love their plastic covers. Do they serve any function apart from looking fancy?

I know that the engine cover most likely dampens mechanical noise from the valvetrain but everything else is just cosmetic right?

Hmm should be a blue liquid instead of green. Shame on cheap asses. You bought an f ing infinity

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars mingiasi says:

Infinity leak! *splosh, half the coolant vanishes.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jonathan Rees says:

Knew somebody that had a VW Golf in the early 80's – OEM plastic tank radiator got replaced twice under warranty – then the dealer just bit the bullet and got a brass tank radiator from a rad shop – no more problems or repeat work. Cheap eBay alloy radiator is probably better than a plastic tank – even OEM one.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Arrow says:

You forgot one connected above the radiator……

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Arrow says:

You didn’t show us what’s the problem with the first radiator …..

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars harold gnomme says:

Personally I never had success bleeding any system using that method. The thermostat will never open. The only thing I found that works is I fill the coolant reservoir to max, fill up the rad, put on the rad cap, warm up the car, attach a scanner and monitor the RPM and ENG TEMP pids, and keeps the revs between 2000 and 3000 RPM until the temp reaches where the thermostat should open. I will see it goes above a certain temp (anywhere from 180 to 210 F), then starts to come down. Once I see that I know the thermostat opened. I check the reservoir and it went down. That works every time. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes. I'm not saying it's the right way. I'm just saying it works for me. Typically I work on honda civics, 1.7 L and mazda 3 cars.
