50 percent click = 100 percent broken motor mount.
"This is going slightly better than I'd anticipated"
Dude, don't jjinx it!!
I love your content, it helps me look for dodgy mechanics, you do it right and I appreciate it
GRAVITY – Not just a good idea – IT'S THE LAW!
What camera do you use. I enjoy watching you in 4k unlike some other car savants who look like they film with an etch-a-sketch.
Talking about not putting broken parts back in as you use the messed up and bent bolt for the mount.
You get the interior so dirty with your hands.
Talk about a Flexy Flex. And also lots of Clickage, and Reverse Clickage. Rainman Ray wins out, Car Gods appeased. One Ford's getting gradually sorted out.
What about the door handle? LOL
Maybe I missed it. What about the wiring under the passenger seat?
My opinion: This car needs its car replaced.
I would have fixed the handle to the door first you can't move the car without getting in!!!! Lol
I owned a '10 Flex Limited AWD and a '14 Limited AWD. They are wolves in sheep's clothing in stoplight races! I took several folks to Gapplebee's, Dodge 1500 Hemis pretty often . If Furd had invested 10% of the advertising money they spent on the Bronco, they'd still be making them, fantastic vehicles! IIRC, they were released in the summer of '08 as '09 models.
Look up Bucky Balls. Little magnets I've used to drop in a socket to hold a bolt or nut in the socket.
Fantastic Job,Ray!! Wonderful to see that something small but annoying was corrected to everyone‘S Satisfaction!
Was very glad that you insisted on cleaning battery posts and clamps 🗜! Your regular fans predicted that extra service. And personally speaking, I waited until the posts got polished to perfection and then began blowing at the screen to remove the dust&grit.!!
Your level of neatness is an inspiration!!
Kind thoughts from a fan in Hamilton Canada!🔧😇🙂
I always wonder why the engineers design the cars with so many fasteners that don't need to be put back.
I love your work and the way you describe things in the way your sense of humor love your sense of humor love the way you work because you love it and you love it so much you do it twice keep the work going Nelson from the Bronx appreciate you very much I learn a lot from you you take care love your sense of humor
How do engine mounts break?
You really are one of the best mechanics on YT really enjoy the banter
WOW very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work.
SAD BUT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are your nuts diffrent size? 😲🤣
Heard the music in the beginning, thought my phone was ringing softly
Good content.
I'd like to see the seat electrical repairs.
Every mechanic has very small eyes in finger tips.
NOT TO WORRY ABOUT LOUD NOISES RAY…OUR VOLUME IS PRE SET…WE DO NOT GET LOUD NOISES LIKE YOU DO WITH HANDS ON TOOLS…YOUR KEWL RAY…TY ANYWAY…VERY COURTEOUS…!!!
Why would someone put in an old mount ? Self defeating
Ray my dude fellow mechanic here the centre of the adjuster on the head or your 1/4 snap-on electric ratchet is a needle grease fitting giver 1 pump out of the grease gun and it will stop making loud crunchy metal noises ! And will also stop the head from blowing up prematurely great videos btw !
Hey Ray, how well do you like that stubby Milwaukee impact? Is it an M12 or M18?
That last phone call was the previous guy telling you "take a walk, bro! No bolts!"
MARRIED MECHANIC FORGETS BASIC RULE OF ENGAGEMENT: "SOMETIMES YOU MUST BE ABLE TO FEEL IT BEFORE IT GOES INTO RIGHT HOLE" ?
what is the song right in the beginning?
Ray, you are a gem.
A Motor mount change, and you clean and dress the battery terminals. I just do minor stuff on my own vehicles, and that’s what I would do.
Back in the day, I was a crew chief on jet fighters. That’s the way the Air Force demanded maintenance be done.
👍
You put the broken motor mount back in because the insurance company denies it as part of the loss. So you call the customer and tell them “if you buy the part we’ll install it for free basically because we’re already there”. They deny it; they say”will it work?” You say; “I don’t recommend it but yeah I suppose it’s okay”. They tell you to use the busted part. So, defeated, time wasted, you slam the busted part in. Button up the front end and roll it around to detail. Three weeks later the customer comes in all irate because his motor is smashing into his firewall and you touched it last. And now you replace the broken mount for free. Just one scenario🤷🏻♂️
Mr Ray is the automobile mechanic that we all men inspired to be love the show ❤️
Man, I need to get that battery terminal cleaner that chucks up to the drill.
Ray, have you ever change a catalytic converter on a kia? If you have please.send the link for the clip tia.
I do like that stubby 👌
Tools are like condoms; Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it…
bro i love gloves while working but i hate slack in the fingertips and how fast i go through them, what kind of gloves are those? they look durable but also plastic so im amazed, as they probably aren't overpriced then either
I want that battery terminal tool, just for my cars lol.
it puts the bolts back in again, or it gets the hose again.
Thank you Ray for the engine mount videos.
For say 35 years I have used the same battery and connector wire brush. To lessen corrosion I apply Vaseline. It's worked for me.
interesting to see the butterfly of the throttle body glitch and flutter when you hooked up the negative! keep up the great content and good work that you do!! Oh, and have a great day!
Doodly doodly Doo
