Why would GM build such an abomination when they could have just imported the Australian built Holden Ute in left hand drive with a “region friendly” body styling kit!
That would be from the Reineer,/Trailblazer/Envoy 4.2L straight 6, all had that oil pan for the front axle to go through.
This thing is a trailblazer underneath don't drive this thing like it is a sports car the parts don't hold up to hard cornering they tend to break or wear rather quickly for the mass of the vehicle.

Chevy trailblazer frame
I was working in the dealership when they rolled out. First test drive not very impressed. Poor ride and handling. It is a Trailblazer that has been shorten, you are correct. When you pull the outside door handle both windows "index" to clear upper seals so you will not break the glass. GM had a bunch of the modules go bad causing those vehicle to be parked until available? If the ride and handling would have been better I would have bought one..Good job, Don
Here in Australia the concept is very popular. They are called utes here. Primarily by Holden (GM) and Ford.

I really don't hate the SSR, they did better on the retro styling than Chrysler did on the PT Cruiser, imo.

the cool thing about f-150s is that they can fit 35 inch tires from the factory without rubbing the wheel well or liner. That's the reason why they use circles around circles.

I thought these were cool. Everybody else hated them. I saw the first one doing hot weather testing when I was at the grand canyon. It had no badges and my dad, my son and I gawked untill the gm employee got in and drove off quickly.

Last guy in there over torqued the drain bolt and left the filter loose, ok very good. Love what you do ray im from the north with lots of salt it’s really satisfying for me to see these cars and that frame shorten gm did I guess was pretty detrimental to these especially in the north we have non of them left!

Love your videos and content, as a former repair tech it's nice to hear from a technician and not a parts slinger. However the front suspension is a double a-arm with a coil over shock absorber, not a McPherson strut as you said.

The quick oil change places don’t tighten oil filters any more . I’ve had to tighten my wife’s Buick Enclave every time she gets her oil changed . It’s lack of training
