Hi from uk ray👋👍 is this the olde sticky lifter slap ? Or just timing Mind you dont blow a valve on this 😂 cant wait to get to you my friend 👌 am running late (it happens😢🤔) thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Hey Ray, why don't you just tack weld a nut on top of the knob, so you can drive it with a power tool (at least in some locations). Your thumb and index will very much appreciate that!
I have been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now. Not in any particular order, just whatever YouTube reccomends at the moment. And I do appreciate what you share with your viewers. Sometimes I hear you say that some viewers give you grief over a particular procedure you use or something they didn't like. Seriously? I wouldn't even reply to those.
I have been doing this professionally for 39 years. 23 of those were in retail repair, and the last 16 in fleet repair. So why do I watch your channel? Because you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. We may do things differently, but that doesn't mean your way is wrong and mine is better; we each have found what works best for us. At the end of the day we have the same goal; getting the owner/user back on the road.
I am never going to criticize your way of doing things. i really can't understand anyone that would. I might even learn some things that can help me work more efficiently. At 57 years old I am still a long way from knowing everything. Just ask my wife, she will tell you that
I couldn't see what you were doing. An "Everything Brakes" popup showed up at the halfway point, right in the middle of the screen and completely blocked the view. I hate those things.
I had a 2010 expedition, 5.4 3V. Only powertrain issue I had was three roller rockers go bad on cylinder 3 I believe. Idk, she started clacking one morning and I had it towed to the dealer. They replaced 3 roller rockers and the valve cover gasket, that’s the only engine work it had. From brand new until 140k miles when the work was done, never had a powertrain issue. Been in the shop several times for blend door actuators and a module for the heated/cooled seats. Other then that, it was very reliable for me. Good maintenance and mostly conservative driving goes a long way.
You can't save those engines this way, a complete overhaul is in order, then next time treat the engine to more frequent oil and filter changes. This owner is wasting money!
Loved the trailer, can't wait for movie! I have a 97 F150 with the 5.4. Thank God it's 2 valve. When the 3 valve came out, I felt I had missed out, and I did, expensive repairs!
5.4 keeps ya going, just changed out me radiator, har, har, har!
I've done over a hundred of these in the past 8 years…
This is the second one of your productions with this background music in it. I'm kindly asking for more please.
Where is the 3rd and final 2012 5.4 expedition video…we need to see it run!!!
Everything I have read says there is no reason to fix these 5.4s…just replace them. That engine will eat its phasers again anyway.
Keep-it-up and you will develop Carpal Tunnel. And that my friend is painful. Click

Wouldn't be cheaper to just swap out the heads
Ok Ray, ya got me. I clicked on this. From a creators point of view, click bait is good.
