People's s slack
HI MR RAINMAN
Y U GOT DEMOTED U MAKE REALLY GOOD VIDEOS AND U WORK SOO HARD AND U PICK UP OTHER LAZY PEOPLE CRUMBS 🥺🥺🥺🤦🤦🤦🤦🤨🤔
i almost cried when you put that center cap back on. Ive lost about 7 center caps to shop work
Why didn't you drill out the nail hole to make it easier for the core to fit through?
Love the "Torque wrench cam". Great content as always. Thanks Ray!
Educational and entertaining, keep them coming.
I may have missed it. I would have preferred that tire be balanced stud centric. Just me.
I always give the wheel lock key to the service manager to put it in the customer's hands so they know they need one and where it is. Had so many times where the customer doesnt even know they have locks on their wheels.
marking the balance point was clever , you still had to rebalance it, maybe because the weight of the patch ?
That fleshlight really doesn’t like you 😂
You patch a tire. Mark the balance point so as not to re-balance. Patches have weight, as per you installing weight.
What is with people using side cutters as pliers? I have this problem at work where $50 side cutters are destroyed by the same example as you see in the video.
If you had drilled the hole through , you would have cleared the steel bracing in the tyre & the patch would have gone through easier , I doubt that repair will last ! Don’t let a mechanic do tyre repairs ,you’re sacked!!
What brand / model is that impact gun ? sounds like it has a lot of torque for a battery type . Thanks
Looks like you're the probie again.
You make it look so easy.
you forgot to ream the hole prior to the buffing
Back in the 60's when I was a kid, my dad had some patch kits for tubes that you lit on fire. It came with a rubber patch, a clamp and a little flat open steel box full of some flammable material similar to match heads. You would sandwich the patch between the tube and steel with the clamp and then light the material in the box and it would melt the patch into the rubber. As a young kid the process was pretty exciting. You had to be careful though not to let the tube itself touch the box or it would burn a hole in the tube.
I am very intrigued as to why I find these videos so enjoyable even though I don’t need to do the repair.
I see this as another gimmick fix… Im 60 years old and have plugged hundreds of tires on the farm, the old way, pull the nail, screw whatever, ream the hole and plug it…. Unless your driving the vehicle 200mph bla bla bla its a proper fix…. this fix requires a dismount, plug and new balance, for what could have taken 2 min without even depressurizing the tire… LOL… got to make your money I guess…
You needed to run a reamer through the puncture
Hey Ray
Your light fell……😂👍
You have problems putting the mushroom plugin because there is a tool that you should use to open the hole up a little bit I did tyre fitting for 17 years that's the one thing you need to do
I have to do that outside in the snow sometimes.
Flashlight gravity is kicking your butt!!
ayyyy broooo this video popped up at the right freaken moment, i just started working for a shop and this is what im pretty much doing soo thank you for this LOL <3
Click! Enjoy your shenanigans sir!
I recommend getting a couple headlamps to keep around the shop.
You will look silly, but you will also have light wherever you're looking. I can understand if you don't wear it for shooting film though since it wouldn't be the most even lighting.
theese small vids help a lot, im about to start at a firestone as a MT and knowing a few little things like this even if i havent done it will help when i first start, good job with everything
Nice job brother
LOL flashlight 🔦 gravity situation
Always wondered how this was done thsnks for showing
Hoping you get the coin to open a serious competitive shop across the street. lol 😂 Debo
Love your channel.
Much appreciated.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever found in a tire during a flat repair? for me I'd have to say once I had one come in with a bird bone that went through the tire, we were all scratching our heads that day?
That floor jack was squeaky, should put some oil under the wheels.
Mad Magazine behind the scenes at a auto repair shop.
Love tire plugs. Seldom bother to patch unless it's a big hole. Grew up with the old vulcanizing patches. Was the first in the family to use the new Chemical or cold patch on the farm. Mean Green works good to check for leaks. Keep up the good work!
Click bait. You didn’t get demoted. You simply got handed a less-skill-required ticket
That was nice. My tyre place doesn't do a balancing for a tyre plug. They just mark the position and mount it in the same place, I thought that was why you put some white marks where the tyre valve was? But I would also prefer my tyre place checking the balance each time.
Noooo! You killed Pea-Tah!!! How could you!?!!!
Return the wheel lock!!! So frustrating!!!! I just don't understand…
I cringed when you torqued the wheel lock. We see the teeth on wheel locks stripped and broken all the time because people decided to torque them when not intended to be torqued.
You are my new favorite youtuber!
Not surprised he refuses to use both hands, does half the work.
That patch will outlast the truck.
Me id have just plugged it on the truck at home in my driveway hever had one fail yet.
I had one a shop did fail once.
Sigh, I miss the tire machine. Only worked it a couple of months, had to leave because of my schedule (and it didn't pay enough to become my main gig).
what are the chances that Ray can be convinced to livestream a days work with a live audence on location?
Frankly Ray, I'm surprised you weren't demoted sooner. Always making fun of your boss's phone ringing, always doing fake "clicks" with a nonexistent torque wrench, always complaining about having to spend 5 minutes looking for a new tire, always bragging how you scammed the shop by completing a job in 2 hours but the flat rate pays 10, always being mean to poor Peter and bossing him around, always taking cars for test drives that last way too long, making fun of customers when you drain their oil and a chocolate milkshake comes out, complaining your tools are constantly stolen, and taking long 2 hour lunch breaks when you're supposed to get 30 minutes. Man, you're really lucky they didn't fire you!
